This is a thick hard covered booked loaded with information and beautifully illustrated for under $20! There are more than 300 pages covering world history from the stone age through the digital age. The text appears factual without political bias. This would make a great gift for any school aged child. There is so much content in this book, that a child might find a topic of interest and then further pursue that topic in other reference materials if they want to more detail.

I brought this history book for my great-nephew for his twelfth birthday. He loves history. The book was delivered in excellent condition. From the reviews and the videos regarding this book, was the reason why I purchased this book. In my opinion, the format of this book is well detailed. The pictures are excellent. You can give this book to anyone from child, teen, and adult who loves history. This book would be a great gift for any occasion.

I purchased it as a Christmas gift for our kids and grandkids to read at their leisure time as a supplement to their schoolwork. The book is hardcover with quality paper, and I hope it lasts a while. So many historical events in the book. Great purchased

Kewl book, my son loves it

This is a good book. Lots of pictures and interesting for children to read. BUT, I was giving it to a kid as a birthday present, but the book came ripped at the top of the spine. Looked like a used book. I didn’t notice until I was wrapping it.

Got it to read to and have my grandson read as well... doing it together... I have do be careful in this day and age.. as a former journalist I want a balanced approach and not a rewrite of history that has a left or right lean... that is the way I was taught. This so far meets that criteria...

Love this book. So do my kids. Starts off 6.5 million years ago ends with 2020. Mentions everything with time lines and definitions to presidents and all broken down in chronological order with vibrant pictures. From the Stone Age to the Digital Age. Perfect for your 4th - 5th grader to get a heads start in Americas history to be more knowledgeable before they start junior high and high school. Awesome for Junior High kids and High Schoolers to read as well. I’m 44 years old and this book has and continues to teach me and refresh my memory.

I bought it for my kids, but I think I read more often than they do. I happened to find a typo on one page, the author's name of The Tale of Genji should be Shikibu(式部 ) instead of Shikabu.
