It is a sturdy plain bag that matches my mat. I like that the bag is not huge, but easily fits my yoga mat, a yoga towel, a water bottle, and a wallet. The pocket on the side is perfect for a few extra hair ties and a headband. The pocket is sewed in a bit so things don't fall out easily. I love that this bag does not have a zipper, this makes it much easier to get things in and out of the bag while I'm getting settled in for class without making much noise or taking extra time. It does make it less secure to prevent things from falling out, but nothing has fallen out yet and this is a trade I'm more than willing to make for convenience.
