There is a thin plastic covering the filter patch, is this supposed to be peeled off after inoculation?

The bag needs to breathe, so, if the filter patch is covered, remove the cover, it should a fabric like membrane

how many ml's of spore or liquid culture solution per bag?

We recommend to use 2.5mL per bag, that way you can inoculate all four bags with one 10mL spore syringe. If you have a large supply of liquid culture, you can inject 5mL and that will speed colonization.

each bag is 2 pounds. 1 pound of grain 1 pound of compost substrate.
