Originally they were not made in China but the are now. The puppets were nice and well made and the grand children loved them. I also bought a Melissa and Doug doll house for them and it is still standing. It was very sturdy. **Q: Made in ?** A: China **Q: Are these mashing washable / dryer safe?** A: I’ve washed and air dried mine, and even thrown them in the dryer a time or two and they seem fine. I don’t know if the packaging says specifically. **Q: Where are these made?** A: I know they are imported and they are too small for my big adult American hands.
