Alexander Home Original Greek Pepper Mill, 9-Inch Brass – European Manual Pepper Grinder Refillable

We have used the Original Greek Pepper Mill for decades but the mechanism was getting worn down. We considered purchasing a replacement mechanism but the copper's non-stop exposure to the local salt air tarnished it more than we liked. The replacement is beautiful and works great. We expect to get many more years of excellent use and are pleased to leave this Original Greek Pepper Mill out on the table.

Absolutely stunning pepper mill. Grinds pepper with ease. The grinder part inside is metal which I love and adds to the quality of the product. Easy to clean and polish the brass!

Although I thought this piece was a little pricey, it is as beautiful as it is functional. I love the grind size of the pepper and it looks pretty sitting on the counter. Not too heavy and the crank handle turns smoothly.

These salt and pepper shakers were amazing at first. Then a few weeks later I started to notice the coating coming off. For how expensive these are, they should hold up. I don’t think they are actually intended for use…just looks. The return window has closed, so now I’m stuck with 2 of these that have the coating falling off:(

This grinder has a nice, heavy weight. The copper is very attractive. It does require polishing from time to time. The grinding function works effectively and reliably. My only criticism is that the lever used to perform the grinding does not sit flat around the peg it slides onto. The quality control could be bit better in that regard. The salt grinder counterpart does not have this issue.

I love the style, and the pepper mill works great! Expensive but worth it.

I'm not sure how I feel about these yet. Pretty, but came in terrible packaging, which is fine because it wasn't damaged, but for that price I expected better so that has me concerned. The top dome can't possibly be brass, it feels like tin. Not sure if I just spent a bunch of money on a dupe.

This pepper mill set is so beautiful, shiny and heavy. It appears to be very well made and hopefully will last a long time! I like the aged brass look so I know I will love it when it loses some shine to match my vintage brass items. I ordered the salt mill in the same 9 inch size because I think they look nicer on the counter being the same size. They are pricey but in my opinion, well worth the money!! I use my tall solid wood ones mostly so these are more for decor and will be used occasionally.

The turning handle doesn’t fit the right way up so you don’t see the nice detail,it works but looks very wrong
