Review: Essential for human life - You cannot live without this cup in your life. My “friend” stole the first one I ever owned and I went a few years without one. I don’t know how I managed to live without it. This cup is never not in my general vicinity. I’m going to buy another one because I use it for water but sometimes I put tea in it and it’s hard to get the tea stains out but that’s no fault of the cup tea just stains everything. So I’ll have one for water and one for tea. Tea stays boiling hot for hours and ice stays frozen for hours this cup is just a dream come true. You will drop it many times over the course of your life and it will NEVER break. The first one I had had been through some serious abuse and it’ll show some scars from extra bad drops mostly on the bottom but the textured finish hold up impressively well. It’s really hard to scratch the paint off you really have to try in order to mess up the finish. When you drop the cup from 4ft on to a hard floor there’s about a 50% chance the lid will come off and your drink will spill. It’s unfortunate but I would rather live with that risk than have to unscrew a lid every time I want to refill. I drink tons and tons of water so simply being able to pull the lid off is worth the risk of the drink spilling when dropped. Easy to clean and keep clean, if I’m only using this cup for water I rarely have to wash it I just rinse it out often and it stays crystal clean. Love the magnetic open and close. The cup does leak slightly if you flip it completely upside down but it’s not a lot. Since I pretty much only drink water from these cups I don’t care about a few drops of water leaking occasionally. Just keep the cup upright and it will never leak. Don’t drop the cup on to concrete from 4-5 feet and it will never spill, and even if you do the lid might not even pop off. The lid needs to land in a very particular way for it to pop off when you drop it. One thing I will guarantee is that if you buy this cup it WILL last longer than you do. I’m sure the seal will begin to degrade after a reallllly long time but I used the first one everyday for over 5 years and the seal never even began to degrade AT ALL. The cup is genuinely built to last a lifetime. Your children can inherit the cup. They should inherit this cup. Buy this cup and know your grandchildren will be drinking from it long after you’re gone. It will be a nice way for them to remember you. They won’t care about your stupid coin collection but they will greatly appreciate your epic yeti cup. This cup reigns supreme and is worth more than it cost. The price is like kinda hard to stomach but then you hold it in your hand, put it to your lips, and realize you made the purchase of a lifetime. **Q: what i want to know is does it truley hold 20 ounces?  The ozark trail claims 20 ounces but only holds 16(18 ounces if filled to rim)**
A: Here's the deal - it may not hold 20 oz, but it keeps your coffee hotter longer than any of the others so you can enjoy it! The 30 oz is too Heavy. The Shorter 14 oz doesn't keep your coffee hot. So, the 20 oz is the best of both worlds! Hot coffee & 16 oz that isn't a strain to carry~! Fill it again when you're done!!

**Q: Can you shake a drink with a closed lid,  without spilling**
A: I received the 20 oz tumbler with magslider lid for Christmas. It is NOT leak proof. If it turns over or is tilted in your purse or bag, it will and does leak! I just called YETI  (01/02/2018) in Austin, Texas and asked about this and they confirmed it is not leak proof. If you need something leak proof, they said to get a YETI with the scree on lid! The magslider is not a good product if you need something that does not leak.
