LAURA GELLER Baked Balance-n-Brighten Powder Foundation – Medium

I’m loving this baked powder foundation. I’ve never tried a powder foundation because I assumed there was no way it would work as well as liquid. Boy was I wrong. I put it on at 10am this morning. It’s now after 11pm and my makeup still looks fresh and as if I just put it on. It hasn’t worn off at all! Further, I have very oily skin and often apply powder several times a day. But I haven’t needed to apply powder even once today. Even my nose has remained oil free. I put it on dry at first, then put the other half on wet - but I didn’t really notice a difference either way, so I’ll probably apply it dry from now on. The coverage is great and gives an even, matte finish on my skin while lightly covering some sun spots I have on my face. And the color is a perfect match to my light, but slightly tanned skin. Today is the first time I’ve used it, but so far I am blown away and wish I’d tried it years ago. The price is a tad high if you’re on a budget, but it’s well worth it now that I’ve used it. I’ll be curious to see how long it lasts though. Regardless, I highly recommend and am super happy with this purchase.

I am a no fuss make-up gal that likes a quality foundation that will cover my "age spots", smooth out my skin tone and actually match my apparently-hard-to-match skin color. I am 62, olive skin, with the normal amount of wrinkles and sun-damaged skin from those years of sun worship in my youth. I was reluctant to believe that a powder foundation would not settle in my lines and make my skin look dry. This foundation does neither. And I guess it's not just a typical powder. It goes on smooth and light, and does what I wanted...smooths out my splotchy skin. It doesn't completely cover the brown age spots, but it certainly tones them down. I often like a creamy foundation that leaves me with a more "dewy" look than this, but, honestly, I've decided that those foundations are settling in my laugh lines and do not look as smooth as this Laura Geller. In addition, I have a yellow undertone to my skin and often times find foundations either too pink or just not quite right. The "medium" in this Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Powder is perfect for my skin tone. Honestly, I am stunned at how well this smooths out my skin and yet looks like I have no make-up on at all. It is true that you can build it and get more coverage, but no amount of building will cover my spots completely. If I want to do that, I have to spend more time using a true concealer, but this foundation is so easy to put on, and looks so good as is, I just brush it on, use a brow pencil and mascara and I'm out the door. (I do also use another brand of powdered "warmth" to just give a quick brush to my cheek bones for a little color) Love this stuff. Thank you, Laura Geller!

This product is okay but does not cover like I thought it would. It’s more powder-based so to me, it was like patting your face with powder. I was looking more for a light coverage that gave my skin a more dewy look. I ended up getting a lightweight dewy foundation and then use this as a powdered base to set the foundation.

I bought it on sale, and I don't think I'll go back to using any other. Great coverage. Doesn't dry out my skin, make it oily, or break me out. It's not too heavy and easy to apply. Looks so natural too

Was sooo looking forward to this product after seeing the reviews and also going on their website.. the color to light for my skin tone and the powder makes my skin look very powdery and dry. Don’t like it at all, such an pity cause I thought it’s my foundation problem solved

Initially I felt it didn’t provide enough cover and I feel I need to use a lot but I’ve grown to really like it. I suffer from regular breakouts so I do still have to use a separate concealer at times but this powder is light and is enough to even the skin tone, great if you don’t like to wear much foundation. I sweat a lot too in my face but thankfully haven’t noticed it sweat off or leave streaks like some have reported. Am definitely a convert!

Phantastische Qualität! Unbedingte Empfehlung! Ich habe Light für den Winter, golden Medium für den Frühling und Sand für den Sommer. Meine Haare sind blond-dunkelblond, Augen grau-grün, mittlerer Hautton. Der Puder passt sich vollkommen an den eigenen Hautton an. Ich kenne keinen besseren.
