Materials were good quality, and the hardware is great. I recently used it on a trip to Legoland Florida, and was prepared for the afternoon thundershowers with this. I was able to carry a small water bottle and sunscreen during the day. If I needed to, I could place my sunglasses inside when I had to wear 3D glasses for shows. When the rain came, I was able to hold 3 cell phones and they did not get wet, though I did have to remove the water bottle to make room. The bag does what it was designed to do. Then you have FAR more room (if you need). Otherwise, you really can fit the water bottle in the holder part.It was raining for a few tours, but everything inside the bag remained dry.
