Perfect.
Works perfectly for hooking up laptop to projector. Can't connect game consoles though as you need a powered converter. Everything else was perfect.

Not much to say, ordered a cable and got a cable! Quality is good and length is nice too. Seems like it will last, all screws in easily on the VGA side and well packaged.

Very useful adaptor
Here are 2 scenarios that I am using this for:1. I have a meeting room with a large display monitor wired through to a boardroom table which has a VGA interface. This adaptor plugs into the interface to allow laptops to connect to the screen via their HDMI output.2. Another meeting room has a new 65 inch OLED TV which only has HDMI inputs. The cabling to the boardroom table once again is VGA. So I use this adaptor at the desk to connect a laptop's HDMI to the VGA port in the table. At the other end I use a VGA to HDMI adaptor to connect the VGA cable to an HDMI cable (it requires a USB 5v connection from the TV to the adaptor to Upscale the VGA to 1080 resolution).Both scenarios a whole lot cheaper than getting an electrician in to recable everything!

Lessened screen quality and made resolution weird
Doesn't really serve the purpose I was looking for (hooking up my PS3 to my super old monitor) - it was just a black screen. Tried it with a different monitor and the picture was incredibly fuzzy.

Does the job!
We needed this to connect a work laptop to a second hand monitor to make working from home easier.It works. For the modest price the quality is more than adequate (although clearly not a premium product).Not had it long enough to make any comments regarding durability/reliability over long term use, but see no reason why there should be any issues.
