I’ve had dozens of book lights and this one is surely going to be my favorite. So much so, that I’ll probably by another one just to keep in case they stop selling this one and mine breaks in a few years. Right out of the box it seemed smaller than I expected, but it is just the right size. The clip is wide, very sturdy, and made for novels and lots of different types of books. It was not a real expensive book light so I was not expecting one that had 4 different brightness settings, 3 different types of reading light, and an on and off button that is so well placed in the middle of those two settings on the back of the light on which you can also set a 30 minute timer by pushing the on/off button twice! This last feature is more helpful than you think. Ever say, “One more page” and another 2-3 hours go by? Or just fall asleep reading? The directions are the best I’ve seen in any small appliance. The little manual is written so clearly and has every bit of information needed, perfectly spelled out, without being overload. The light is one of the few that lights up both sides of the book. I like how I can adjust it if I need to make it work on the thickest part of the novel. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours to fully charge and lets you know when it is fully charged. This is what all book lights aim to be.

I'm a picky reviewer. We have several other reading lights and this one is by far the best. The part that I appreciate most is that there are 3 buttons instead of 1. Most reading lights have only one button that you have to press over and over to toggle through all the different brightness levels before it turns off. With this light, it REMEMBERS your last setting, so you just press the center power button ONCE to go straight to that setting. Then press the button once to turn off. Relief! (The left and right buttons control the brightness and color... so nice to easily change) Nighttime amber light is perfect. Grip strength is great. Weight: very light Neck: very flexible, easy to bend, stays put. Metal is not wrapped in ugly plastic like other lights. Battery life: lasts forever! Charger: USB-C, thank you! There is only one SLIGHT thing that bothers me about the design. When you pinch open the clip, sometimes one gripper swings down due to gravity, and you have to use one hand to swivel it the right way before it can clamp onto the book. It's a minor thing, takes 1 second longer than it would if rotation didn't occur. All in all it's by far the best reading light I've ever had.

I LOVE these lights! I have bought one for everyone in my family! I like the three light color options. I use the amber light setting at night to avoid "blue light" exposure before bedtime. It also has 3 brightness levels. The adjustable goose neck is the perfect length and size. It doesn't lose its strength or droop into your book. The best light and totally affordable! Oh and rechargeable too so you aren't replacing batteries constantly!

My wife reads in bed and was reliant on a bedside light that spilled past her to fill the room. This delayed my falling asleep. She wanted a more focused light to enhance her reading. This light is perfect ! It has variable brightness (and color / temperature) settings and us compact in size. It's Rechargeable and lasts a pretty long time. I would recommend.

This is a little gem that gives me the true choice of light brightness levels. One level is very distince from the other levels. The brightest is great for when my eyes feel strong and the least bright level is great for when my husband wants to sleep. I read reviews about the neck not working - I think it is fabulous. It's more flexible than my old light and holds its place well. I love that it is rechargeable and I don't have to go through all those batteries. I read for an hour every night and it seems it lasts about a week before I need to recharge - but that may depend on the brightness level used - whatever it is, it lasts plenty long enough for me before I recharge it. The clip is small and tight so that it doesn't get knocked around easily an it isn't so bulky it affects how the pages lay against it. A great little light. Thank you!

I looked at all these various lights. This one was the best in terms of features, price, and reviews. It's bright, long-lasting, and the color spectrum selector is a really nice feature. Blue light can mess up your circadian rhythm, so having the ability to use amber light is great. When the battery is out, it doesn't slowly dim, as you might expect. It simply shuts off. I think I get about 5-6 hours of use at the brightest setting and much longer with dimmer settings. The shape of the light illuminates both sides of a book, so that's nice. It's well-made and works every time. Nobody paid me for this review, and I'm an actual human being who is sitting here bored waiting for a delayed flight to take off...

Kurz und knapp: - 3 verschiedene Lichtmodi (kalt, warm und ein Mix aus beidem) - in Stufen (Drücken) und stufenlos (gedrückt halten) einstellbare Helligkeit - bis jetzt die "dunkelste" und aber auch hellste Leselampe die gekauft habe - wiederaufladbarer Akku (über USB-C) - robuste Befestigungsklammer (geht auch problemlos an viele andere Gegenstände) - sehr belastbarer und flexibler Hals Mehr: Da ich abends meine Kindern immer Bücher vorlese, brauche ich natürlich eine Leselampe, damit es auch möglichst dunkel im Raum ist, sodass die Kinder zur Ruhe kommen, und ich aber auch ausreichend Licht zum Lesen habe. Anfangs hatte ich eine günstige Lampe aus einem "Ramschladen" um die Ecke. Die hat zwar funktioniert, aber gefühlt musste ich jeden Monat die Batterien wechseln und bis auf die dimmbare Helligkeit, hat diese nicht mit dieser hier gemeinsam. Dazu kommt, dass die Batterien sehr teuer waren und es welche waren, die man glaube ich nicht einem normalen Haushalt auf Vorrat da hat, da ich sie noch nie in einem anderen Gerät benötit hatte. Also wollte ich unbedingt eine neue Lampe die ich wieder aufladen kann. Und da bin ich auf diese hier gestoßen. Wie oben schon beschrieben hat sie zahlreiche Funktionen und ist sehr robust. Auch der unerlaubten spielerischen Benutzung durch meine Kinder konnte sie bis jetzt erfolgreich standhalten. Hinzu kommt, dass sie über USB-C geladen wird, was ja der heutige Standard ist und man nicht noch ein altes Mikro-USB-Kabel heraus kramen muss um sie zu laden. Ich benutze sie jeden Tag. Auch nachts der Gang zur Toilette wird mit ihr beleuchtet, da sie viel viel dunkler ist, als die eingebaute Leuchte im Smartphone. Keine Taschenlampe zur Hand? Diese Lampe zumindest in Innenräumen und für ihre Größe verhältnismäßig viel Licht auf höchster Helligkeit erzeugen. Und mit ihrem flexiblem Hals ist sie auch gut für handwerkliche Beleuchtung an unzugänglichen Stellen geeignet. Ich möchte jetzt auch keinen Roman über eine Lampe schrieben, darum... Fazit: Super Lampe. Sie hat meine Erwartungen in allen Belangen übertroffen. Habe sogar eine zweite für meine Frau gekauft. Würde mir auch noch eine Dritte kaufen, wenn ich sie brauche.

Product is really good quality. The neck is extremely flexible and adjustable to whichever angle and orientation you want. It isn't loose and stays the way you adjust it to. It doesn't dangle. Lightweight. The horizontal shape of the lighting capsule causes the light source to cover the entirety of the open book span and everything is illuminated enough to read comfortably in the dark. Brightness is pretty good and there are multiple adjustable levels. The only minor con is that I found the clip to be a tad looser than I'd have liked it to be. Also, it's a bit on the expensive side but if you want a high quality product, then you'll have to loosen your purse strings a bit.

Excellent product! I clip on the book to read - but you need a hardbound book - or you can attach to something else, but i prefer use on book. Battery life, brightness, color options etc all satisfy me!

Really bright. Nice and compact - doesn't hinder your work. Very light weight. Complete with a dimmer control and different colour light settings. It will stand on its own or you can use the spring clip to attach to your workpiece. Brilliant! Rechargeable via a USB lead provided. One of the best things I've ever bought. I would really recommend this product to anyone involved in crafts, especially now winter is approaching and the light levels are very low. Recommended purchase.
