Transon Red Sable Filbert Paint Brushes 6pcs for Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil, Tempera and Gouache Painting

I am a beginner so I am not worth the $50 (and more) brushes that are out there (yet). That said, I was worried that buying lower-cost brushes could handicap my progress due to shoddy performance. These brushes are a delight to use and the results are quite pleasing. I'd buy these again for sure - and feel no need for higher quality at this time.

I purchased this set for oil painting and LOVE them! I was a little skeptical that they wouldn't be very good quality or even real sable at this price but they are definitely Not synthetic and have held up very well (no shedding). Compared to other sable brushes these are more dense and have a lot of spring. Others I have purchase don't have enough hairs to move oil paint well. I believe they would work well for watercolor & other mediums as well. I just wish this company offered a set of flats and brights.

Great filbert brush. There is it you use easy to clean and I haven’t fallen apart yet.

Brushes are a good quality. A couple had a couple of loose hairs, but still work well

WONDERFUL BRUSHES

These Transon red sable filbert brushes are excellent quality—soft yet springy bristles that hold paint well and create smooth strokes. They work beautifully with watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints, and the variety of sizes makes them great for both detail and broader coverage.

I got so frustrated with this set that after several months of use I've decided to change my original five star review to three star. I use acrylic paint, and bought this set for some specific painting methods. Generally speaking the brushes performed well, except the two largest. The two largest, and especially the largest of the set, lost a *ton* of bristles. I have always been very careful with how I treat my brushes, no matter the brand, and I believe that a good brush should last many years. That being said, the largest brush in this set lost bristles in every step of painting - it shed right after unpacking of the box when rinsing the 'glue' off, it shed while applying paint on canvas, while dabbing excess water on a paper towel, and when cleaning gently under a running tap of cold water. It's missing a substantial amount of hair now and looks lopsided. If you decided to buy this set, know that you are gambling with quality. The handle length and ferrule are of good quality, but the shedding just kills it for me.

Excelentes pinceles por el costo que tienen, sólo un detalle, recomiendo lavarlos muy bien al principio pues pierden algunos pelillos y pueden quedar al aplicar la pintura, pero conforme esto pasa los pinceles trabajan sorprendentemente bien
