I can’t believe I got this quality kimono at this price! The blue is a beautiful smokey blue/grey that looks amazing with this royal blue jumpsuit! It’s soft, flowy, comfortable, sheer so not hot, and the right amount of coverage. I truly don’t understand the negative comments. The only one I agreed with was I didn’t like the white tags so I removed them. Yes, I’d recommend this kimono!

The garment looks just like the photos. I have not laundered it yet, so I’m not sure how it will hold up. XL size works for me (165 lbs.). I bought for a special occasion but you could wear it for casual outings also. Strictly for looks, not warmth.

I purchased the color “blue” and “green” in this kimono looking for the perfect add on to go over baby shower dress. The names are misleading but the colors are pretty true to the their pictures. The color blue is a dusty blue, more of a dark periwinkle with grey undertones. The color “green” is a dark sage color, definitely not aqua. The fit is oversized like it should be for a kimono. I am currently 6 months pregnant and it would fit me pre-pregnancy as well. I love the style of the lace, it’s well designed and doesn’t look too beachy which is what I wanted. The material is soft, not stiff like some cheap kimonos out there and it flows beautifully when you walk. Again, making this kimono a lot more elegant than a beachy one. It’s slightly more expensive than others out there on amazon but the style and quality are certainly reflected in the price. I tried about 6 different kimonos on amazon and this one was by far the best. 5 stars for sure!

THIS ITEM IS NICE AND SEEMS WELL CONSTRUCTED UNTIL YOU LOOK AT THE SEAMS; IT LOOKS AS THOUGH THE WEARER, HAS IT ON BACKWARDS DUE TO THE WAY THE SEAMS ARE SEWN. I ORDERED ONE, RECEIVED IT, THOUGHT IT WAS SEWN WRONG AND ORDERED ANOTHER TO REPLACE IT - THE SECOND ONE IS THE SAME - THE MANUFACTURER NEEDS TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SEW IT SO THE SEAMS LOOK CORRECT. WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT 5 STARS IF THIS ISSUE WAS NOT PRESENT.

Arrived in good condition. It looks like it was looked at by another customer, but that’s OK. It was folded appropriately. A few loose threads and attached into a different area for example the embroidery part which seemed odd. I do like the flow and look of these. I will carefully wash by hand if I keep this. The color was exact as pictured.

I ordered the burgundy kimono hoping for a crimson or cranberry red. This Kimono is a true burgundy-red and although beautiful, was much too dark for the reds I was hoping to match. I also ordered the green hoping for the gorgeous aqua that other reviewers had posted: alas it was a pale olive or sage color and not at all what I needed to match my turquoise accessories. The lace and construction is good quality — as nice as others I found in department stores — but would need ironing immediately, because it arrived crushed into a little zippered bag. I'm 5'6" and the hem came to just below my knees — a little shorter than I'd have preferred but still a nice length over a long skirt. Hoping the seller carries a crimson-dark-red and/or turquoise/teal/aqua in the future! Garments made this well stick in the back of one’s mind. When I was putting together a burgundy Miss Fisher outfit for Halloween, I re-purchased the burgundy lace duster and kept it. And a week ago when I found a celery green knife-pleated sheath dress, I remembered the pale olive lace duster and thought they might compliment: they did beautifully. :)

I bought the maroon lace cardigan to wear over a maroon "mother of the groom" dress to obscure - just a little - my round tummy and impressive rear end. This was perfect to make my body con dress a little less "look at me" made all the difference. However, it was a wrinkled and I tried to iron it smooth with a too hot iron (I know better - my mistake) and melted a hole in the fabric. Managed to hide this hole with my seamstress skills. Probably if you want to smooth it maybe hand wash and hang dry, or spritz with water and hang dry, or maybe steam it. If you iron it needs a VERY low synthetic setting and then you will probably not get the wrinkles out and get aggressive and melt your cardigan. Do not do this. Just try the water. Lovely garment. Recommend.

Very surprised on the quality of it. Good quality. Feels nice and soft. Fits like you would picture. Love the sleeves. I reccomend it🙂

Quick ship, fits as expected in 5'7" great for over my dress! Knee length , blue is a greyish soft Blue which I loved, lace is pretty, seems look like they're inside out but you don't notice it's lovely! Def hesitated to buy but worth it totally! Haven't washed so not sure how it'll be after but im sure delicate with hang dry it'll be fine

The kimono was elegant and pretty. I wore it over a maxi dress for Ascot Races but could be worn for any occasion. Also was very good value for money.

I know it doesn't sound impressive when you read my review headline saying exactly the same as listing photos but that is a huge deal to me. Normally I avoid purchasing clothing online like the plague, especially from amazon because what arrives tends to be not even the same product as what was listed. In my experience, everything tends to end up being a cheap knockoff of very poor quality but not this time. What arrived was exactly the same as the photo. And I mean that very seriously. As soon as it arrived and I tried it on, I was very impressed with the lace cardigan. First thing I did was pull up the photos of the listing online to compare the lace pattern with what I received. If this were a knock off, the lace would probably be some kind of stiff material of a different pattern but that was not the case here. It was the exact duplicate of what I saw in the listing photos. I am so impressed that I am seriously considering buying this in burgundy as well so I have a second one.
