Definitely one to buy. Good recipes and easy to follow

Was a Christmas gift for my fiancé, which she loved. Tried a couple recipes and they was very tasty. Although 1 thing I will say is that it’s a very much American book and a lot of the ingredients are hard to find or non existent in the UK.

Perfect gift for a Disney crazy fan

Doesn’t reflect food you will actually find in the park for the most part, but overall a good recipe book with good instructions. Majority of meal recipes are meat based, with plenty of appetisers, desserts and drinks to make.

We’ve been going through the recipes for food (skipping drinks and desserts) and I’ve liked all of them so far. My favorite is the batuuan wrap - I got to try spices that I never used before and I guess the experience has been educational. I also have my 15-year-old cousin cook from it. The steps are easy enough he can do most of them (with guidance) and he’s learning common cooking terms and techniques. I think it also helps him practice focusing and learning about measuring things like carrots and shredded cabbage. He still is padawan. He interpreted shredded cabbage as one leaf of cabbage and tear it a few times - the cole slaw ended up looking like some fancy gourmet chef’s $300 appetizer. The recipes I think are simplified so a family can make it and sometimes you have to be creative to make what you make look like the picture (I would invest in squeeze bottles). So sometimes cooking experience helps. But what you make is edible and tastes good. What I don’t like is that there isn’t a TABLE OF CONTENTS. And the index is not alphabetical. The Index is by type of food and specific location. The recipe book is organized by theme park. Other than that major pitfall, I really like this book! I actually bought a second copy for my cousin. And my other cousin bought her own copy too. I even used the batuuan wrap (Bah-too-oo-ahn) wrap for my birthday bbq party. We used beef strips instead of pork butt and naan instead of pita. I normally hate coleslaw but this one is pretty good. And I personally would add more Sichuan peppercorn and sumac.

Such a gorgeous book with lots of extra information in it that's fun to read even when not using the recipes. As a vegetarian I was a little worried that it wouldn't have a lot I could make, but I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of vege recipes and most that weren't I could substitute ingredients. Very happy :)

Un livre de recettes parfait, même s'il est anglais les recettes est compréhensibles facilement, seuls problèmes le dosage et la température qui ne sont pas les mêmes qu’en Europe (cup et°f).
