They allow full hand functionality in the kitchen and provide protection against hot foods or cleaning products. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Not Really 5 Mils But Decent Quality Nonetheless *by C***X on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2022* I BOUGHT THESE / I'M NOT A VINE REVIEWERI measured the thickness of the first glove I pulled out of the box at each fingertip, the palm, and the cuff. I didn't try to cut open the glove to measure so my measurements are double-thickness, so divide by 2 for the average thickness at each location. Cuff is 6.5 mils, palm is 6 mils, and the fingers/thumb ranged between 6.5 to 9 mils. I would say that these are probably more like 4 mils in the fingers, but they should be very good for light duty/medical use. They seem to be of similar quality to other gloves and at an acceptable price.I ordered medium because I thought I read that they may run big, but I don't find that to be the case. I normally prefer medium for the tactile benefits for woodworking and light duty shop work, and these don't feel any bigger than other mediums I've used. I was actually hoping to have more room with these gloves so large may have worked better.They passed my stress/fit test: I sanitized my hands, let them dry (but still sticky-moist...you know what I mean), and then donned them. No rips or tears in the process. I think if you're looking for light duty, inexpensive nitrile gloves then these will suffice nicely. I ordered 100 before I bought the 1000 to see the quality, and think I will go ahead and get the 1000.
