I am absolutely obsessed with the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Milky Leave‑In Conditioner! This stuff has quickly become a staple in my hair care routine. From the moment I spray it in my damp hair, it starts working — knots and tangles melt away with just a gentle comb‑through. The best part? It fights frizz like a dream. Even on humid days, my hair stays smooth, soft, and manageable all day long. I also love that it provides heat protection, so whether I’m blow‑drying or using hot tools, my hair feels protected and never dry or crispy. The scent is classic Sol de Janeiro — tropical, sweet, and beachy — and it lingers subtly without being overpowering. My hair not only looks great but smells amazing too! My beloved item 🖤 I will be extremely upset if they ever discontinue it and will almost panic buy the stock if that happens. I was traveling recently and this item had broke in my bag, I decided to try out another product, and never in my life have I regretted using another large mainstream brand and IMMEDIATELY bought a replacement bottle of SDJ. The smell? Unreplaceable. Does not have an awful chemically smell that other brands (looking at you Moroccan Oil) Quality? Phenomenal Great for fine hair? Yes, just spray into your hand instead of freeballing it in your hair otherwise the hair may look like she is ready to try some chicken in a few days. I do not seeing this a problem with people with thick, drier, or more voluminous hair. I also extensively dye my hair and bleach it as well and it helps maintain my hair health. I will post a photo in my review of said example of my hair, but there is a LOT of coloring and bleaching going on in my end. This keeps my hair nice and healthy as the best as I can with all the damage I cause (lol) Softness? Also great, so noticeable that my fiancé knows immediately when I use it or not. This bottle lasts me quite a long time for its size, I only spray 2-3x on my hands for each side. Again, I have fine but thick head of hair and I was holding onto my first bottle for nearly a year before it had busted open because I didn’t pack it correctly. To mention as well, there is a lock on the nozzle for travel, which keeps it from spraying all over in your bag if you choose to travel with it.

This is my favorite leave in conditioner EVER! It smells so good and makes my hair so silky and soft! I have gone through one of these every month or so. Will continue to purchase this amazing product!

I haven't found a product that works better for my and my three kiddos' hair. We all have baby fine hair that is easily weighed down, gets oily quickly, and also tangles A TON! This does an excellent job removing alllll the tangles from my kids' hair so that hair brushing isn't a traumatic event for all involved - my kids have a flair for the dramatic so brushing hair & teeth is honestly akin to attempting to catch a litter of slippery, borderline violent pigs. This doesn't weigh our hair down or make mine greasy/oily - and trust when I say that this single mama-teacher does her fair share of sweating and having tiny hands grabbing at my hair on the daily. The best is that it smells amazing AND does a great job at healing up the damage I inflict on it daily (daily washing, straightening iron coarsely yanked through my hair at 5:30am in an attempt to look somewhat human for school, & constant touching - hair up, hair down, hair half up, hair grabbed by ravioli-stained hands, etc. etc.). I saw that some people reported that it weighs their hair down or makes it oily, but as long as I only apply it to the ends of my hair (which is what they recommend) this product doesn't have that effect on my hair at all. I'm on a strict budget, and this is worth every dang penny!

Okayyy can we talk about how this stuff smells like a tropical vacation decided to live in my shower? The scent is chef’s kiss — warm, rich, and totally addictive. It leaves my hair looking finished, silky, and smooth, not frizzy or weighed down. Think “I woke up like this” vibes, but like… intentional. The price is on the luxury side (hello, wallet), but it lasts me about 3–4 months with regular use — so in that sense it’s a worthwhile splurge for hair that behaves. If you love a buttery smooth feel and a scent that sticks around like a good memory, this is your jam!

I personally chose this product because I wanted a heat protector that smelled good and this product did its job. I’m not sure how effective it is against heat, but my hair isn’t frying off or doesn’t produce that hair frying smell so I think I’ll be OK. This is honestly my favorite brand. It smells really good and it feels lightweight. It doesn’t make my hair any more shiny though.

Smells 10/10. I use it after every shower and it took me about 1 year I think to use a whole one. It leaves my hair super soft. I have tighter waves as my hair type and it works amazing.

This is Sol de Janeiro so if you’ve used their products, you know how wonderful they are. I needed a quick gift and it was great that I could buy it on Amazon and get it to the house quickly. I’m a huge fan of Sol de Janeiro so this was a no-brainer for me. This stuff leaves your hair feeling super silky, smooth and of course it smells yummy.
