Works great with a Dell Latitude 5495, Lenovo Thinkpad Z13, Windows 11, and Linux.
This works pretty much perfectly with the USB C port on the Dell Latitude 5495. May not be able to achieve the full dual 4K monitors, but that is a limitation of the laptop and not the dock. Everything works, including the power button on the dock. Works fairly well with a Lenovo Thinkpad Z13 as well, although notably the dock power button does not work with the Z13. This is not an issue specific to Dell, power buttons on USB C docks often, unfortunately, have limited compatibility between brands. With that one exception, everything else seems to work just fine; plug it in and everything connects. While I did experience some issues with crashing during sleep while docked, they seem to be attributed to the Z13 and Windows 11, as a combination of Windows Updates and BIOS updates for the Z13 seem to have resolved these issues. Tested it with both Windows 11 and moderately recent versions of Linux on the Z13, and just Linux on the 5495. In both cases, everything seems to work just fine; USB ports connect to peripherals, monitors hot-plug, and ethernet connects at full speed. It also functions when connected to USB C only ports (such as on desktops) without video support. Note that the dock will not be capable of displaying video when connected to a USB C port that does not support video out, but all the USB peripherals and ethernet connection will still function.

A great dock with all the features I could need.
After using this dock for a while now, I am happy to report that it performs as well as I have expected and then some. I bought this while I had just a few peripherals and one screen. I am using it today between a Dell XPS 15 laptop and a MacBook Pro M3 and I am able to seamlessly handle the dual screen ( I can even also use the screen of the laptops as well, so it does support a 3 screen setup ), along with an external camera, a USB microphone, a keyboard and mouse USB combo, a Huion tablet all working fine between the two laptops making my transition from work to home as simple as a flip of one thunderbolt cable. I am really happy I went for the thunderbolt model at the time. I have had to update the firmware a couple of times but otherwise it's been just plug and forget. The ability to power on my Windows laptop with the button on the dock itself is quite nice, although that does not seem to work with OSX. That however is a minor inconvenience.

Died after a few months
Worked fine for a few months. Then started getting a warning that the fan was not working so it would shut down. It is a docking station, I did not know it even had a fan. Not sure how to get support, or how long it was covered, so went back to my lenovo thunderbolt three doc. Yesterday I needed a USBC to DisplayPort and thought of this dock. I plugged it in and is sort of worked for about 15 minutes. Even when it was working 2/3 of the display was having major problems (I was using the displayport to power a VR headset).

One dock to rule them all?
We've been looking for a dock that will work with a Macbook M1 and a Windows laptop for a while. Tried a couple of Ankur USB-C hubs, but both had different compromises and occasional USB drop outs. So far this dock seems to do everything with respect to supporting different devices with a single connection, at a reasonable price compared with other Thunderbolt/USB4 docks, and with very little compromise. It appears to be capable of delivering up to 90W of power to any USB-C device, while it is rated for up to 135W of power delivery when connected to a compatible Dell laptop. I tested on a single 1440p ultrawide monitor with a max refresh rate of 165Hz, along with a Razer wireless mouse + Logitech wireless keyboard (each with their own dongle). Note: Multiple display support will be device dependent and I did not test that. 1. Macbook M1. Provides 90w of power delivery according to "system_profiler SPPowerDataType". Outputs 3440x1440 (1440p ultrawide) at 165Hz via the first displayport connector. 1440p ultrawide works at 60Hz via the HDMI connector. Also tested a logitech usb webcam with the macbook. 2. Razer Blade 14 (2021 version with AMD Ryzen CPU + RTX 3070). Outputs 3440x1440 (1440p ultrawide) at 165Hz via the first displayport connector. Works well, but I needed to disable g-sync to prevent the picture dropping out when in a game*. 1440p ultrawide at 60Hz via the HDMI connector. Also tried the USB-C DP connector and that worked at 165Hz as well. 3. Steam Deck. Outputs 3440x1440 (1440p ultrawide) at 100Hz via the first displayport connector. Higher display frequencies would not output. The USB-C DP port did not work with the Steam Deck. 4. Asus Chromebook. Outputs 3440x1440 (1440p ultrawide) at 60Hz via the first displayport connector. I'm assuming the 60Hz is a limit of this device. 5. Dell Latitude 7420. Only tested briefly and it worked as expected :-) *In the one case where I tried g-sync through the doc the screen would flash black and then back. I assume this is due to the refresh rate dropping out of a range supported by the monitor or dock, but will need to investigate more. The power button on the dock will most likely only work with a compatible Dell laptop. It *might* work with a TB4 or USB4 device as well, but I don't have one to test.

Works great, but...
Works great. I finally found a docking station compatible with my laptop (Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7640). I'm only giving it four stars because it's missing a 3.5mm audio port for speakers. I'm surprised I overlooked this when choosing a docking station. Usually, I'm much more thorough with my research when buying a product like this. I'm also an audiophile, so you would think this is one of the first things I would check. Anyway, I have to buy an adapter cable (3.5mm to USB Type C) to plug in my speakers. Hopefully, this will work, or I will have to buy new speakers. This is obviously a non-issue for you if you have Bluetooth speakers or speakers that use the USB Type-C port.

Works fine with HP Elitebook 645 G11
Corp IT upgraded me from Dell to HP elitebook 645 g11 ryzen. They took Dell dock back so had to get my own dock so bought HP G6 tb4 one but it would have random usb issues. So decided to go back to the trusty WD22tb4 I had when I had one assigned from EIT. Never let me down when I had Dell laptops. This one works great with my elitebook. Even turns it on with power button! Great seller too condition like said. Happy to have reliable dock again.

Actually supports 2x 4k monitors
Unlike the WD19 dock, this one actually supports 2x 4K monitors. The descriptions on Amazon leave a lot to be desired, so the first one I ordered (WD19) did not do what I needed. One thing I like about this from a mechanical and usability standpoint, most of the bottom of the unit is covered with high traction rubber, which means that cables plugged in won't drag it off onto the floor. One problem I ran into was that the HDMI port did not initially work until I plugged the other monitor into a different displayport port. A bit odd, but I hope that anybody else who runs into this issue will see this. I haven't tried the Ethernet port, but the extra USB ports are a big win along with neater cables than having stuff plugged into bot sides of the notebook.

Product DOES NOT work with a Dell Latitude 3520
Generally when I pick up products designed by the same company, there is a bit of an expectation that they will work unless otherwise noted. I am giving this 3 stars because part of the blame lies on myself for purchasing this without doing enough initial research, and the reduction is on the part of the advertiser for failing to inform customers of the limitations. This dock is NOT backwards compatible with standard USB-C ports. Many other docks on Amazon list the model numbers of the laptops they are compatible with. This one did not. When I did my initial searches for docking stations that power laptops for Dell 3520, this came up in the search results. I checked reviews and saw nothing to suggest it wouldn't work, checked product details and saw nothing to suggest it wouldn't work. Purchased the item and then waited. I gave the laptop and docking station as a gift quite a few months later. Laptop works great! Docking station ... just didn't. So I did troubleshooting, updated drivers, BIOS, and all the things. Still no luck. Contacted support and had about a 30 minute troubleshooting session. Decent support, but couldn't get it to work. They ended up replacing the docking station for free, and I just got the new one. When that didn't work, I had to dig even deeper. It was only then that I figured out the laptop does not support this dock because it only works on Thunderbolt ports. The support person knew my laptop model number, and I am a bit surprised they did not tell me this was not supported. Anyway, TL;DR, if you don't have a Thunderbolt port, even though this still plugs into a USB-C port, it simply WILL NOT work.

Perfecto!

Great Design
Great product, Works great and love the design. I have a Dell laptop and work great together. I had a previous model Dell dock and the USB C cable was very short and had no power switch, this model is much better design, is slimmer and better layout of ports.

Excellent dock, simple to use and reliable
After getting fed up of cheap docks that broke within a few months, this has been a massive upgrade. While on the more expensive side, it has been money well spent to remove the hassle of inferior docks that were temperamental or soon faulty. There are a ton of connection options, and I currently have one of my monitors being driven by display port with the other on HDMI without any issues. The dock has both USB-A and USB-C ports - which I am yet to run out of! It is compact and sleek on my desk - now many months in getting covered with stickers. With my laptop requiring 60W, it has more than enough power to supply it and connected peripherals. It connects immediately to my laptop with just one cable, making it a breeze to use day to day. Anyone looking for a capable dock for a double 4k monitor setup will be happy with this purchase.

Works great
We have these on all of our Dell laptops, at least 16 of them and two Lenovo's. Connectivity is no problem via the USB C. No real set up other than on the laptop to set up the multiple monitors. No excessive heat, built well and gives all the functionality that is expected. Charging works on the Dells, but not on all models of Lenovo.
