I work at a computer desk all day long and have been having all kinds of muscle strain in upper back and neck - decided to switch to a standing workspace and had terrible shin splints after one day of standing to work. Ordered this gel mat and it made 100% difference in my ability to stand and work. The mat was shipped rolled up, came out of the box and immediately laid flat, and is deep and soft, resilient to stand on. The mat itself did not have any odor, no off gassing at all,which was a critical factor as my LEED certified workspace does not ventilate at all. Can work barefoot, in socks, or ballet flats that I leave at work for this purpose. All are equally comfortable. Color is true. My coworkers are jealous, I believe I have sold a few for the company by letting coworkers try this out. I am now standing at my raised computer desk 75% of each work day and this would not be possible without this gel mat. Result is more energy at the end of the day, no pain in legs or feet.

Got a standing desk at work. Standing in one place on a firm surface is hard on the joints. this fit the bill exactly. Edges are nicely beveled and don't roll up. the pad itself is a high-quality, resilient gel - supportive but soft under the feet. easy to move out of the way if you need to move the chair into place and sit for a while. It isn't the prettiest thing - it's a black mat - but it's not for decoration, it's for function and this does what it says and is worth every penny.

I stand up for several hours a day. I bought one of these as a test run. It worked well, so I bought a few more for other parts of my office. They are comfortable. If you put a chair on them, it does not damage the mat. Would by another.

I purchased this mat to use with my standing desk and absolutely love it! We have carpeted floors at work, but no cushion, so this is perfect. It doesn't slide on the carpets, is easy to wipe clean, and maintains its shape despite being used almost 10 hours a day. It seems pricy, but when I think about how often I use it and how much it saves my legs/back, it's totally worth it!!

Both my wife and I recently made the switch to standing desks in our home offices and needed something to take some of the stress off our feet and ankles. We've been using the Eco-Pro floor mats for about one month now and we are extremely happy with their performance! They appear to be holding up well and really make long stretches standing at our new desks more comfortable. One small side issue...our 2 cats seem to like them as much as we do. I recently purchased a Varidesk standing desk and bought this mat as a companion piece. I have concrete floors, so a mat is a must for daily home-office work. This mat is very comfortable! I work 8+ hour days at my standing desk and this mat does the trick. It was a bit larger than I anticipated, but that worked out in my favor. It's nice to be able to stand in various positions and not worry about stepping off of the mat.

Yes it's pricey, but it certainly does its job. I work from home at a standing desk for 40 hours a week. It would be impossible without something like this. I'd recommend it it you need a relatively small place to stand for long periods of time.

I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and it hurts to walk/stand on them. Whenever I'm in the kitchen doing the dishes or cooking, I stand on this mat. It feels really good. As soon as I stand on it, it's like my feet go, "Ahhhh!" -- like they're getting some relief. Wish I could wear the mat on my feet full time as I go about my day.
