Eventronic 154PCS Watch Repair Kit:Watch Link Removal & Battery Replacement

I have a watch that is worth over around 20. So it is expensive for most, I get that, but com on…there is watches that cost 500k and up. I had it sized at Rolex when I got it. I felt it was still a hair too loose. I took it to a jeweler and asked him to just remove a link. Lmfao…. The guy looked at it and said “ oh noo I do not want to touch that my friend, you need to go Rolex.” I asked, you can’t just remove a link for me? What’s the problem??? He was afraid to touch it! Hahahaha a jeweler, that sells watches! The Rolex store is over and hour from me. I am not driving up there for that becauwe these jewelers are amateurs ewww it says Rolex who cares!!! So I got this kit and boom 2 minutes I figured it out and it is fixed, I did not scratch it and it is working. Just for that It was worth the buy! Even if you own only 1 watch, you should have this kit. Screws can get loose, pine can pop out, batteries die, now with a kit like this, you can fix it yourself! 5 stars simple, Cheap and well made and I love the little jewelers hammer its nicely made has a hard metal side and softer side so you can hammer it in and you wont scratch the watch or damage it. The block is great too, it holds the watch in place so you can work on it. A-lot extras in there too. Very cool. Thought of that jewlery story who was afraid after I fixed it and said wow, how could he not be able to know he could do this???

Exactly what I needed, has everything you need for any type of watch

After reading the reviews I came in with low expectations and my expectations were met. The build quality of the products are not so great but the get the job done. Both the spring bar tool and watch link remover worked fine. I also used the bracelet holder and hammer to reinsert the pins into my metal bracelet with no problems. The case back opener worked for my Vostok also with no problems. My Vostok would slip out of the case holder so it's dead weight. I wish they would organize the spring bars by size. They're all mixed in together so I had to fish out the right size. Also, the spring bars themselves are pretty poor quality and bend easily. Many people were complaining about the spring bar tool breaking immediately. I have to believe that they are using it incorrectly because there should not be enough force involved in removing a strap to break a metal tool. Another common complaint is that the spring bar tool is too large to fit between the strap and lugs. Metal bracelets should all have a gap for the tool to go into, and rubber and leather straps should be flexible enough to squeeze the tool into.

I needed this kit to change the battery in my work watch, as the case back is quite difficult to open. With this set, I was able to do it without any problems. Another tool I used was the one for removing the pins from the watch band. I have a watch that was given to me as a gift, and I'd never been able to use it because it was a bit too big, but with this kit, I was able to easily adjust it to my size. It comes with a wide variety of tools that adapt to different types of watches, and everything is very well organized in its case. Although I'm not an expert, I was able to use it without any problems and saved myself a trip to a watchmaker. As a side note, some of the pieces are small and need to be handled carefully, but overall, they perform their function very well.

I collect lower cost watches, just as a fun hobby. Mostly I have fossil watches and we had a store nearby so it was easy to get the batteries replaced whenever I needed to. But I went to go to that store the other day and they were "permanently closed" per google. On a whim I bought this kit to see how hard it was to just do myself and I have to say I'm really glad that I did! This kit seems to have everything you need for most standard watches and the tools all seem to be of pretty good quality. I took the backs off of all of my fossil watches very easily and also a bulova and a few others that I have had for years. This is a good thing to have around as a guy who likes to tinker and do things myself, it makes my limited budget watch collecting even more fun.

*Update* For those who are a bit apprehensive on this product, just know that the seller sees the reviews and will get in touch with you to make things right. Also, I want to make a correction to my original review. This set *does* in fact include a flat head bit for the precision screwdriver! Unfortunately it's too big for any serious precision work. It would have been perfect if it were smaller. This set continues to be super useful as I've already worked on some of my family's watches. I would still recommend it. *Original Review* I will start off by saying that this set already payed for itself on the very first use. I adjusted the strap on 4 watches, removing links from the band. I also replaced 2 batteries. It's a pretty comprehensive set for everything I will ever need to do for my current watches. The reason for the 3 stars is due to a couple of things. First, the set includes 3 tips for using with the small hammer for driving out pins. 2 of them were bent right out of the box. I managed to straighten them up as best I could with my thumb. I didn't want to risk breaking them. Second reason is that this set surprisingly does *not* include any flat head bits for the precision screwdriver. The bits included are only Philips and torx. I was fortunate that neither of my current watches use the screw-in type pins for the band (the manual even has a picture of the screw-in pins with a red 'X' beside it, and a green check mark beside the regular pins). With that said, this set will hopefully continue to come in handy for years to come.
