I actually have 2 of this freezer. Last minutes emergency required that I purchase a second one after returning from a fishing trip in Alaska. 1 small freezer was not enough.The first freezer seems to work fine, however, because the freezer olid hinges are plastic , one of the hinges is broken and I don’t know who or how to contact anyone for a replacement hinge. Because of this I have to watch to be sure the lid is seated properly so I maintain maximum efficiency. Any help would be appreciated.Other than that, all seems to be working OK, however both units have only been operating now for a little over a month.

When I say perfection; it's because nothing can be added to it. I put it in my bedroom. I plugged it in and nothing. I heard nothing and thought , "O' no! Then I place my hand on top of the freezer and felt this hum in my hand. It was running, but couldn't be heard. I set it on 3 and within an hour it was at zero. Not to large, not too small; just right for someone who needs more space than refrigerator has. I am 95 and a WWII vet, and able to lie alone. was a cook and baker in the army and I cook and what to do with left overs. Hello, my new freezer. Thank you for the perfect freezer.

Perfect size works great but it was a little scratched up right out of the package so I was a little flustered but it’s ok

This was a purchase for our elderly parent. She has prescribed meals that require freezer space more than her fridge/freezer could hold. It’s easy to operate and small enough to keep in a room in the house. Florida heat is too dangerous for it to be in the garage.

Price was great and delivery good enough, my only concern is related to longevity and durability. It's lightweight, works well, and is much quieter than under-the-counter refrigerators i have had in the past that rumble and vibrate on and off.I wasn't quite sure how well the one through seven temperature knob would work, because theoretically this is supposed to be a refrigerator at the lower settings, a regular freezer in the mid-range, and a fast-freeze in the highest point. So the result of that is that it does work however their scale is off. The refrigerator is supposed to be at 3 or below, and it still freezes at 2.5, and needs to be turned down to 2 in order to stop freezing the food and to keep it cold -- so, it is colder than represented which is not necessarily a bad thing.When set at 4 it is very cold, but it also starts building up ice masses on the side unusually quick.In assessing how well the insulation is in it there are two things to say -- first when it is on and running for a while the top gets very cold but the sides don't, so either the top is not insulated well, or there is a thermal mass there which freezes to maintain the temperature. So I turned it off one night with a bunch of frozen stuff in it, and the next morning it seemed to be just as cold as the night before with nothing thawed at all, so I presume the coolness on the top is a cold heat sink.I wanted to use it for camping and run it off a 500wh battery but was not sure if it work, and it does if you turn the freezer down low to start and slowly turn it up. It draws about 82 watts when the thermostat kicks in and about 8 watts when it is resting.As far as the design goes, it seems like there is a squeezable seal for the lid that squeezes down when you set something on top of it, which means you can't set anything on top of it. I might suggest some kind of clip on the front that keeps it from smashing down too flat to the designers.Originally I thought that Wanai was an original manufacturer and Hanai was a cheaper knock-off, so was a little irritated when I got it and saw what looked like a Hanai logo on the front, but apparently there is a small wiggle in the middle of it so Wanai and Hanai are actually one in the same.So far so good, but let's see how it lasts.

It's working just fine. Does not take up a lot of space in my apartment.

We live in a small apartment for seniors. The small freezer is perfect for the small area.
