Great pass through car monitoring device
Works great and does not interfere with my car's dash. Other products I tried disabled my dash as they were monitoring my cars computer. This one works great. I love the on/off feature without having to remove the device every time. I leave it in and turn it on when needed.I purchased OBD2 scanner to monitor my 2000 Hyundai Sonata, yes my 17 year old Hyundai car. It paid for itself with the first shop visit after install. Device reported gas tank sensor detecting vapor leak. Went to shop, did NOT have to pay their computer fee. They reported that their computer does not see the error code. I plugged in my device, drove the car and code was there!

Product didn't work.
Product was a waste of time. The Bluetooth doesn't work. Tried with three different phones and it's not detected. Had to return and get a different brand.

Works well with the Torque android app. It does take quite a few seconds to pair successfully, but no real issues thus far. Only tested with two Ford vehicles thus far

Not thrilled with this device nor plan to use again in the future. Should have returned it.
While I'm convinced the device is reading the codes correctly it fails with the results in that they are very hard to understand or not written in plain English. They're not even full results and what results you do get are just a bunch of codes with no explanation in layman's terms, so hopefully you have a mechanic friend whose willing to explain what little info you are told. Unfortunatly I have to say that this is not all that helpful and takes a lot of work to use this "not very user-friendly" device. I need to also add that although I'm convinced the software your told to download is not malware, I keep getting the malware error message/software is a risk nessage particularly on the torque application software. I don't know if that's just my version of Android or what but it's saying this it is suspicious and to uninstall it. But as I said I'm convinced it's not harmful so hopefully I'm not wrong there. I do wish this device could have worked out for my vehicle as the concept is really awesome...and I'm not sure if all the devices like this one are all equally unuser friendly but based on this one I have to say it just doesn't work correctly nor does it seem to really tell me anything about how my vehicle is internally. Maybe I need to try a different company /product for better results I don't know... I just urge you to really look around for whichever one seems to be the most user friendly.

Super mini. When I got the package I just disappointed and didn’t think it would help. When I plugged in my 2007 honda fit gd3, it surprised me! The PID read speed shows current at 28.8, max at 32.7, average at 27.9! I have bought another brand ELM327 before, the max PID read speed is 3. So you see, what a surprise I got!It very easy to set up, and connected to ECU in a second. It worked for monitoring all the sensors in my vehicle in real time, then I found the problem and resolved it. There are so many similar product on Amazon, don’t hesitate and checkout with this product, you won’t disappointed!

Great piece of gear for knowing more about your car!
Fantastic little piece of gear that tells you in real time detailed information about your vehicle. My favorite ones are horsepower (plots peak horsepower achieved at the respective RPM), 0-60 time and 1/4 mile time. Very simple to use, just plug it into your 16 pin socket typically under your steering wheel. I have a GMC Sierra 1500 truck and the plug is centered right under the steering wheel. Click the blue button and connect it to your phone via bluetooth. The run it with the Torque app and all the parameters will be displayed in real time! Highly recommended if you're interested in knowing in detail about how your vehicle is running

Steaming live data
Bought this for my BMW(E60) to check on alternator voltage and temp. gauge.Small enough to fit perfectly in the OBD2 slot, fast bluetooth pairing with my aftermarket Android head unit. Using the Torque app, I can have live data reading from voltage, temp. AFR, Cat temp, load...etc.On/Off button is a great feature, just turn if off when not using the car for a few day to prevent battery drain. An automatically Off function is a welcome addition in future model, sometime I do forget to turn it off.
