Used this to add 16GB to the one/only SODIMM slot on the Asus Zephyrus G16 2023 (GU603VV), the laptop already has 16GB soldered in so the total became 32GB. On this laptop Windows 11 takes 6-7GB on its own without anything running besides the Windows processes and some Asus bloatware. With Borderlands 4 running on low, the total memory allocated is 17GB. This means one of two things: 1. Borderlands 4 is grabbing as much memory it needs if available, in other words if you only have 16gb, Borderlands 4 would detect that and only allocate up to 15GB or so. 2. Or 16GB wasn't enough, in which case they made a mistake declaring the minimum requirement for the game as 16GB since on most Windows 11 PCs they're going to have stuff running in addition to the OS to easily take 8-10GB from the start.

It's not compatible with Dell g15 5511. I found after installing that my laptop needed 3200AA and this is 3200CA. The installation was easy enough, but I was referring to the service manual for guidance. On booting after install, I got the battery light indicator 2,5 (2 orange, 5 white), and per the service manual, the problem was invalid memory. I'm not rating it low stars because the issue wasn't the quality of the card.

great product, literally no issues. plopped it in my laptop and it just worked. i bought this on january 19th 2026 for $89.99, but as of now(jan 25, 2026), its like $120. price is going up very fast because of AI, so if ur gonna buy this, buy it now

This helped me upgrade my Acer Nitro 5. It is now back to being the beast it was when I first bought it. I can edit and render videos with ease and without a lot of lag. It is a good value for the money. I put two of these in my machine and maxed out the RAM. Matter of fact, of all the upgrades I did to my laptop, this was the easiest!

Short review. Excellent memory, just buy it if it is what you need! Longer (mildly educational) review. As with so many things recently, the memory market is flooded with cheap RAM sticks from brands you have not heard of (nor me and I know my way round IT!) with outstanding reviews and excellent pricing. Save yourself some money and DO NOT buy those. The chances of the memory doing what it should, at the speeds it should and without (frequently weird) issues for the foreseeable future, are about the same as winning a sizeable amount on the lottery! Corsair have been in the computer market for a long time and make some seriously good stuff. Frequently that stuff is also blinkin' expensive! RAM is one of those areas where actually paying a little more over the other stuff is a good idea. Aside of Corsair, Samsung, Crucial and Kingston are also highly recommended. Choosing the correct RAM for your computer is not difficult. I recommend the Crucial system checker. It is a tiny program you download from the Crucial website (perfectly safe) and it will scan your system and tell you what memory you need - while telling you how much it costs from them directly. I recommend just making a note of the information and searching on Amazon as the prices are generally better. This particular purchase was for a work colleague's laptop, which was struggling to be effective with just 8gb RAM. Now, while you can run Windows 10 with 8gb RAM, it runs a whole lot more smoothly with 16gb. Don't even bother trying to run Windows 11 with 8gb unless you want to practice your stress management techniques! Installation was simple. Most laptops above very basic models, have 2 RAM slots and just one used. It is almost always found on the underside of the laptop and will simply require undoing 1 or 2 screws to remove the section covering the RAM. If unsure, youtube will be your friend here. It will only fit 1 way round and just a gentle push should have the clips on each side lock into place. I should add - please power down your laptop first! :) Once fitted, the laptop immediately detected it and booted up as normal. Colleague has since commented "it is like having a new laptop where I can do lots of things at once!" Thanks for reading and I hope you found this useful. :)

Purchased this memory to install into a Gaming Dell notebook. Very stable and has synced well with existing Samsung Memory SoDimm to enhance to Dual Channel mode. Have tested a number of Games and has enhanced the overall gaming experience to reach a new level. Can thoroughly recommend this SoDimm memory for anyone contemplating doing the same memory upgrade.
