Extraordinary Value and a Fascinating Alternative to Paper
I have been using these filters for less than a month, and I am finding them extraordinary. At first I experimented with air-drying the filter after each use, but I have since switched to the traditional Japanese-style storage method of keeping the cloth submerged in water in the refrigerator and refreshing the water every day. That has worked very well for me. Cloth definitely creates a unique brew compared with paper. I find that it can produce noticeably more complexity, body, and flavor integration while still preserving the distinctive notes of a good specialty coffee. There is a bit of a learning curve, however. Grind size and water temperature often need to be adjusted slightly compared with paper filters. As I write this, I am drinking an Ethiopian specialty coffee brewed at about 92°C using a Timemore Chestnut C3S at 17 clicks. I am getting all of the expected flavor notes, and the cup is extraordinary. I am still comparing cloth with paper, and that has been part of the fun. Neither is necessarily better in every situation; they simply present the coffee differently. Although this filter is designed for the Hario V60 02, I have even experimented with it in my stainless Kalita Wave 185. It is obviously not a perfect fit, and I would eventually like to get a cloth filter specifically designed for the Kalita, but the Kalita is forgiving enough that I have still gotten some very good results. For the price, I think this is one of the best values available for someone interested in trying cloth brewing. I have not tried the competing reusable cloth filters, so I cannot make a direct comparison, but this has been an excellent, low-risk introduction to cloth-filter coffee. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys experimenting with pour-over coffee and wants to explore how cloth changes clarity, body, aroma, and flavor complexity.

4 years later..
Bought these 4 years ago and still use them to this day! Can't imagine how much money I would have spent on single use ones in that time. No rips, tears or any issues to speak of. Each filter have easily seen over 1000+ pours. Would recommend!

Good
I like the idea of a reusable filter, but I think it would be better if the tag is sewn into the top border instead of the bottom. Also, adding something to hang them to dry would be nice.

Good quality, nice alternative to single use paper
We’ve been looking into reusable filters for our Hario pour over set for a while (those paper packs never last very long for us and the price adds up), so we finally got a set of these Doppeltree ones, used up the last paper filter, and made the switch this weekend. Overall, we’ve been impressed—the coffee tastes great without having to blanch the paper, and the drip time is similar. The cloth might be a little slower than the paper, but it’s not very noticeable. One of my concerns with reusable filters was the clean up. We usually take the grounds, filter and all, and put them in the compost. While the grounds have to get dumped out instead of putting the whole thing in, it hasn’t been that much more mess than we anticipated. And, with these filters, you never have to worry about the day when you wake up and want a cup of coffee and then discover someone else beat you to the last filter! Good quality for the price, and always nice to find a reusable alternative to single use paper.

100% False Advertising
The tag is not 100% cotton, and it is not completely removeable as others have stated. It is tightly sewn in, so a remnant of the tag will remain if you cut it off. The tag is right where the coffee passes, so you are definitely contaminating your coffee with whatever the tag is made from. Seriously, the DUMBEST design ever. I don't have Prime, so now I'm stuck waiting until I have $35 worth of stuff to order, and of course shipping is about a week without Prime. I'm out of filters. TERRIBLE purchase.

Pretty good filter, easy to clean, wish it was a little bit bigger
I’ve been using this filter for a couple of weeks now and I really like it. It makes a fine addition to my doppelgänger goods filter collection, right next to the cold brew bag. I like that it’s reusable without having the same problems metal filters have with clogging up over time. The brewing process is pretty well much the same as with paper filters. So far I have really loved using this filter to flash brew some iced coffee. It’s pretty easy to clean: just toss the grounds and hand wash in the sink with a bit of dish soap and leave to air dry. Doesn’t take long to do at all. I do wish it was just a little bigger so that I’d have more room to agitate the grounds. In the video I was making an 8 fl oz iced coffee so I had a bit more room to work with, but when I used the filter to brew a 16 fl oz iced coffee it was a tight fit. Having a bigger filter would really help since I like to agitate the grounds to prevent under extraction. I also worry if the tag impacts extraction at all, since it takes up a higher ratio of surface area on the pour over filter than it does on the cold brew bag, since this one is smaller. But overall I am very pleased with this filter.

Excelente filtro de algodão
A melhor maneira de extrair café na Hario V60. Um sabor neutro, ao contrário do papel e do aço inoxidável. A qualidade do algodão e do fabrico geral é muito boa. Recomendo

Great!
Makes a very nice cup when used with my Hario V60. Runs through easily, at the same pace as paper filters. Rinses easily. The tag makes it easy to turn the used grinds into the compost. Happy to have a reusable option.
