RMR Brands Botanical Disinfectant and Cleaner, Kills 99% of Household Bacteria and Viruses, EPA Registered, 1 Gallon

This product is really good. I have used their brand to kill black mold. Worked great on that, so figured I try this. Bought a house that had sat mostly empty for more than a few years. The carpet smelled from the doors not being opened for years. Tried keeping the doors and windows open for a couple weeks. Didn't help much. Sprayed this stuff on the carpet twice in one week and now we can go in and it smells alot better. Can't afford to replace the carpet right now. This def helped prolong that expensive job!

I would compare this as a direct and equivalent replacement for 3rd Generations disinfectant cleaning spray. If sprayed to heavily it will streak but if wiped with a dry paper towel leaving just a light wet film it won’t streak. I use it on black absolute granite which shows all cleaner’s clarity or streak issues. I strongly recommend this cleaner as a great cleaner and disinfectant. Its cleaning abilities are the same of 3 Generations cleaner as well. Both require the cleaner to sit sprayed for at least a minute to disinfect and break down grease and oils. So why pay $4 per spray bottle of 3rd Generations cleaner when a gallon of this cleaner will last you well over a year for half the price. A great cleaner and disinfectant.

RMR Brands Botanical Disinfectant Cleaner has no harsh chemicals like bleach or phosphates, and is safe around kids and pets. That said, you would definitely want your children to be kept away from the bottle, of course. It is good and strong and is a potent killer of over 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, according to the manufacturer. The label doesn't mention mold but I have found it to be preventative for that as well, providing it is used often enough. It has a powerful aroma. I transfer some from the one-gallon container to an empty spray bottle. and spray it full strength on all shower surfaces (porcelain, metal, both sides of the shower curtain). First I spray on EverSpring All Purpose Lavender-Bergamot Cleaner and then rinse and squeegee it off; then the RMR Botanical Disinfectant Cleaner which I leave on without rinsing. My shower is squeaky clean! I also add a small amount in the washing machine with every washing. I never dilute it for anything. The label lists 15 different uses for it! I have used five different brands of thyme-based disinfectants, and RMR Brands Botanical Disinfectant Cleaner (also thyme-based) is as good as any of them. They are all pretty similar, but you can't go wrong with this one. Plus at the time I bought it it was the most inexpensive of all of them. Not sure if that's true now. This is an effective disinfectant / cleaner.

It's great that it's natural and you don't need to rinse (or even wipe, if that works for your case). It does have a strong thyme smell. You may prefer other scents such as lavender. But for killing germs and such, a great natural option.

Good stuff! Used it to clean the insides and outsides of my window air conditioners before I installed them. Smells ok, not great but better than bleach. Washes away mold easily, but takes a few sprays to get it super clean. Use in a well ventilated space as like any chemical, you shouldn’t be breathing it even if it’s not as bad as bleach. Definitely use gloves and a mask. Definitely a thyme smelling product. I sprayed it inside the ac vents, and even one of the units I couldn’t open, I saw the mold wash away, and the liquid run out a drain hole and after I turned it on, the smell went away in about 20 minutes. That was yesterday, when I turned it on today, no smell at all. This is a great alternative to bleach and one of the less expensive brands that sell botanical active Thymol sprays. Works great, and we’ll see how well it lasts.

This cleaner works really well and makes the house feel clean and fresh. I like that it’s botanical and still kills bacteria and viruses. It’s easy to spray and wipe, and it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling behind. The smell is light and much nicer than strong chemical cleaners. I feel good using it around the house and keep buying it.

It leaked and damaged the outside of other item. To manufacturer; please have a gallon or two with another item like mine was a mop delivered to you. See if it leaks. The seal on top cap is poor quality. I didn't lose much liquid but enough to soak the packaging with cleaning fluid. I don't recommend this product until they resolve it. Meanwhile I buy from my local Walmart. Where I can see if it has leaked on the shelf.
