RIPPING WOOD WITH 80 TOOTH BLADE FOR FINE WORK /

For this saw, and the precision I work with, ( 1/100th of an inch), I cut up to 1/2 inch thick hard woods . I always rip first. Do a finish cut if needed and then assemble. I use these saws daily, The quality of the machine is great. Learning how to use this saw has uped the quality of my work. It also has cut way down on waste and a hike in yield.

Does this saw have a variable speed control?

No. It is a fixed single speed.

Are the blades interchangeable with the Proxxon 115?

Both the KS 115 & FET use saw blades with a 10mm arbor. Although the blades of the KS 115 will fit the shaft of the FET you will not get the full cutting capacity of the FET as the KS 115 blades are 2 inches in diameter versus 3 inches for the FET.

Is saw included? Please let me know what Components are included, if saw is not with it, tell me the model number I should buy.

The saw includes everything you need to start, including the fence, saw blade and an elaborate miter gauge. All you might want is additional blades. although I am still using the original. They last a long time.
