I purchased this T-shirt on Black Friday at a really low price because I was looking for just a simple one-color shirt to wear underneath hoodies during the winter. I wanted something comfortable, soft, and something that wouldn’t shrink immediately after washing it. I also wanted it to be versatile enough where I could either layer it or just wear it by itself around the house or out running errands. At first, I honestly didn’t know what Hanes meant by “Beefy-T,” but after getting it, I completely understand the name now. This is a thick T-shirt, and I mean that in a good way. The material feels substantial and much higher quality than a lot of the thinner shirts out there right now. As a bigger guy, finding T-shirts can honestly be very hit or miss. Sometimes an extra large doesn’t really feel like a true extra large, and the sizing gets weird the bigger you go. This shirt actually felt roomy in a comfortable way. It had coverage to it. I felt warm wearing it, and it almost seemed intentionally made a little beefier and more relaxed fitting, which worked perfectly for me. It ended up being extremely comfortable underneath a hoodie because of the softness and thickness, but it also looked perfectly fine wearing it by itself too. For the price I paid, I was honestly impressed with the quality. I highly recommend this T-shirt, especially for bigger guys who are tired of thin shirts that feel undersized or cheaply made.

These shirts look and feel fantastic. They are heavy without being stiff, feel very comfortable and soft to wear, and they fit very well. I am 5' 10" and 198lbs with a fairly muscular dad-bod build including just a bit of a belly and I went with a large. It's long enough that the bottom doesn't ride up my stomach or hips when I raise my hands - which as a side-note makes them excellent for EDC purposes. That said, they are not as durable as I would like. For some reason these shirts are developing holes near the front bottom, likely from rubbing against the counter when I cook or potentially against my belt buckle. Other shirts I have purchased do not have this problem. I own 5 of these shirts - 4 short-sleeve and 1 long-sleeve - and so far all 4 of the short-sleeved versions have these same holes in them. Given how comfortable and cheap they are I may still buy another few as I don't mind replacing them, but if you're looking for a shirt with a long life these may not be it.

Great quality and color. It runs a little large in my opinion so please check measurements before ordering. It washes well - keeps it's shape and doesn't get dull.

I absolutely love these Hanes Beefy T’s! The fabric is noticeably softer and thicker than other brands I’ve tried, giving it a premium feel and great durability. The color is vibrant and rich, exactly what I was looking for. I used it for a heat transfer vinyl project and it turned out fantastic! The vinyl adhered perfectly with no cracking or peeling. These shirts hold up well after washing too. Great quality at a fair price. I’ll definitely be buying more!

The shirt is definitely nice and thick, but the fit is much slimmer than I expected. If you like a looser or more relaxed fit, I'd probably size up. Good quality material though!

These shirts are exactly what they claim to be: beefy. The cotton is thick and actually holds up to real wear and tear. Whether I'm on the road for a long shift or getting under the hood of the Escape for some maintenance, this is the kind of durable, no-nonsense shirt I rely on. It fits well, doesn't wear thin after a couple of washes, and stays comfortable all day. Highly recommended if you need a dependable everyday work shirt.
