So far I've only tried these on and not worn them as part of an outfit, BUT the large does fit me well (I'm 5ft 6in, 165 pounds, and normally wear size 12 in pants). In general, these stockings fit me about the same as they fit the models in the photos (mine go just a bit higher up the thigh, and mine are not as sheer as the product description's first photo). The material is soft, comfortable, and somewhat matte. I LOVE how the color is actually true white. Also, the silicone bands seem to hold the stockings up very well without giving my thigh a muffin top appearance. I'm not sure how long these will last since they seem very delicate, but I'll do my best to make them last as long as possible! Review: Look good - Purchased for my wife when it’s special time.
