Looks better than the picture, seems to be good quality
The first thing I noticed upon receiving the backpack is that it is prettier in person than in the picture! Also the zippers and lining seem to be good quality, and I like that the back of the bag and underside of shoulder straps are vented. We live in FL, so it can get pretty hot with a bulky backpack on. The straps also have a nice thick layer of padding.The backpack has several compartments inside, including an area for a laptop and pencils, calculator or small accessories, as well as a small area in the top with zipper closure.It’s the perfect size for my Kindergartener. Doesn’t look too big but big enough for standard folders. The lunch bag is a good size and opens wide, with an extra pocket on the outside. The pencil pouch is as expected.We haven’t used any of the items yet-we just received them today (bought for my daughter for Kindergarten)My only complaint (and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) is that the bottom of the straps where the clips are and the handle on top, as well as the handles for the lunch bag and pencil pouch are a thinner cloth type material than I’ve ever seen on this type of product. They are also a light color-a beige color, which wasn’t a good choice in my opinion, in contrast with the glittery rainbow theme of the bags. They will most definitely get dirty fast and don’t have the durability the rest of the bag seems to have.I’ll update after we use it for awhile to see how it holds up. Overall they seem like quality products if the handles hold up with time. My daughter loves them and can’t wait to use them!

Made to Last
This backpack, lunchbox and pencil case have lasted all school year. My child can be quite destructive, but these items are in great shape. Dirt does not even show up too much despite the light color. And if I pop it in the wash on gentle, it will look like new. The different types of pockets are also very practical and very sturdy. I am not crazy about pastels and unicorns but my child LOVES the pattern, and I guess that is what matters.
