Bought 2 loupes, one for a friend. Both were good quality and easy to use. The magnification is superior to the current loupe I’m using. A light, narrow inexpensive lanyard although not included in the price would have been a nice addition. Something to think about for the future.

This loupe is perfect, I put in on a thin bead chain around my neck and use it all the time. This thing also works great, well made and very sturdy.

I bought this for looking at stuff on my newly planted lychee tree's leaves. I have to max rate it for the price, simplicity, and being made of metal, but I can't say whether the magnification is as advertised or not. I have no idea. The one I received was clearly a return, but I didn't mind and cleaned it up easily, most of the text wore off after one day of use. I still have great difficulty figuring out what bugs I'm looking at, but I've since realized that I should care most about the health of the trees' roots and from there the tree will eventually manage itself. I didn't plan to ever use pesticides or anything anyway, but I wanted to know whether certain things would be best manually removed or not. I think I did see spider mites once, and I was able to verify lacewing eggs and their hatching. There's still some kind of cocoon, egg sac, or something that I have NO idea about. It would definitely be much easier to use the loupe indoors, where there isn't wind or evening sun reflections. At first I wished I'd gotten one with a flashlight, but after some more use, I doubt I would actually use it much. So... I'm happy with this purchase after some time with it, and hopefully I'll find some more uses for it in the future too.

Ok for amateurs.

Size is great, made out of solid metal so it seems it will be durable. Fits on my keychain really well and is not bulky. Very easy to use. And functional. There is no battery so no need to worry about getting it wet or anything which is nice.

Within a few weeks of receiving the item the screw which secures the lens to the case was lost and the lens with it. The case was secured to my key-chain with the lens nowhere to be found. I presume at some point in time while using the key-chain the screw fell loose and the lens which it secured fell to the ground along with it. First time I've ever given a one star review. This items merits a one star review, in my opinion.

It works the screw, fell out of the thing that swings around after a couple months. The magnification is good and the build is OK. Just a screw thing. There’s a little bothersome.
