Hypochlorous Acid Spray for Skin, HOCl Facial Mist & Body Spray, Skin Cleanser for Face, Acne Prone & Sensitive Skin, Fragrance Free, All Skin Types & All Ages (4 oz)

I've been a fan of hypochlorous acid sprays for the last few years and thought it would be helpful to do a comparison of a few popular ones: Tower 28, e11ement (this one), and Briotech. The prices fluctuate a bit on Amazon, but all were purchased in the $10-12 range, with Tower 28 being the most expensive at 1 oz, e11ement in between at 2oz, and Briotech being the cheapest at 3.2 oz.HOClIn terms of formula, e11ement and Tower 28 claim to be 150 ppm while Briotech reports theirs is 140, and all 3 contain the same ingredients of water, NaCl, and HOCl. From a usage perspective, all have the faint bleach smell and seem to reduce inflammation and irritation in the same way. The only difference I can tell is that Tower 28 and Briotech are noticeably saltier than e11ement when some accidentally gets in my mouth.Spray bottleAside from price, this is probably the biggest differentiator for the 3 brands. Tower 28's nozzle is the best one, and it produces a fine, even mist that makes it feel like a nice skin care experience. Briotech's is the worst, with an uneven mix of tiny and larger droplets which requires more sprays to cover the same surface area and leads to some parts being drenched. e11ement's spray nozzle is somewhere in between, not noteworthily good or bad, but perfectly fine.Overall, if price were no issue I'd purchase the Tower 28 version because the spray experience is so much nicer, and as HOCl degrades rather quickly having a smaller/fresher bottle is preferable (you're supposed to minimize exposure of HOCl liquid to light or air, so decanting or pouring a big bottle into small bottles would not be a solve). e11ement is a great value stand in, both from a product and price perspective. The 2oz bottle is small enough to use up before the liquid loses effectiveness, it provides a nice enough spray experience, and is roughly half the price per oz as the Tower 28.

Hypochlorous acid is a staple in our house! I like using this one to make a facial spray to refresh my skin after a workout. We also use it on cuts and scrapes, to clean hands when we’re out and about (without the harshness of alcohol in hand sanitizers), to treat rashes (it’s great on eczema followed by a good occlusive ointment). It’s a great multipurpose solution to have on hand!

I have dry to combo skin, and struggle with tiny bumps on my forehead. I'm usually a very sweaty person, so when I saw tiktoks about how hypochlorous acid can help with excess bacteria on the face from sweat, I started my search for a spray. I was hoepful of the benefits of hypochlorous acid, but didn't want to invest in the Tower 28 spray just yet, so I tried the e11ement one instead since it seemed like a good deal! I ended up really enjoying this product, and I use it for mid-day refreshes before reapplying spf or after cleansing but before my toners and serums! Like the prior reviews may have stated, the mist does smell sort of like pool water, but I don't mind the smell at all and it's still perfectly safe for skin. The redness in my face/body clears up within an hour after spraying a little hypochlorous acid on the areas! It has been a few weeks since I've purchased this, and I've seen a considerable amount of improvement to my skin. My bumps aren't as abundant and my skin texture has overall been smoother! I didn't change much in my skincare routine besides introducing the spray, so I know the improvements are because of this spray!! Thank you e11ement <333

e11ement Hypochlorous Acid Skin Spray has become a part of my morning and nighttime skincare routine. After cleansing but before applying serums, moisturizers and SPF, I spritz my face and neck with the fine mist. It has done a great job at calming my rosacea and my skin looks more clear and even toned. I carry the travel size in my backpack and spritz throughout the, even over my makeup. When I'm traveling, I spritz my face often in flight to help moisturize and it makes me feel like my skin is cleaner.

Doesnt do much for me for acne/pimples.It does work very well for piercings and keeping them clean and smell free. (You know what smell, dead skin smell)I have used it as a spot treatment for pimples and it does help reduce those. My face doesnt like it all over though. So on breakouts - thumbs up, But only during active breakouts.It dries quickly and comes in ahandy spray bottle. Too much in it to be travel friendly.I also use this as spot treatment on canker sores when I get them. (Also have a mouthwash version)This is YMMV type product. Some people will swear by it, others will say to stay away. I say figure out what this works for on you. Its worth having around as it makes a great sanitizer, could help wounds overall. Where to start with this product review…this product is pretty amazing. It has so many uses. I have been using it for my body, my face, my sheets, bug bites. It’s pretty self-explanatory on the paperwork that comes with it. I purchased the three pack. I have one at work, two at home, and I just purchased the large refill bottle and a different atomizer… I sprain my sheets with it my face my body everything I can possibly use this on I use it. It was encouraged by my aesthetician.I will say my initial reason for purchase was because I woke up one morning and had literally got bit in the butt by something, which I assumed was spider bites by the sheer size, discomfort. Naturally, I tore my house apart cleaning disinfecting could not find any critters?! To my despair, I went down the Google rabbit hole of what it could be… Finally, it’s an allergic reaction to carpet beetles something 90% of the world has in their homes on the daily, I digress… but yes mortified!After purchasing this product and using it on those red swollen painful bites, this literally was the only thing providing comfort, a cure for what I was dealing with and peace of mind. The doctor told me they were Ant bites ha ha doubtful.After discovering what this product is, and how many uses there were for it, and that our body naturally produces this product I was hooked! I now have told many of my family members even my coworkers I will probably be purchasing this product forever I cannot stress enough how much this is given me peace of mind when I was having a utter meltdown due to my circumstance. And it’s useful for acne, rosacea, bug bites, eczema, cuts, tattoo care.. you get the gist. I will include a picture of the card that was in the package with this product. The only con, is that I didn’t find this product sooner! Love it!

I love this brand. I’m so glad it is back in stock. I tried using and different brand that gave me a bad reaction. This is by far the most gentle. Helps me between face washes to feel clean without drying out my face!

Great product for the price!This product has the exact formula as a product that is used for cleaning pet's ears. Ingredients are THE SAME. However, with this bottle you get twice the amount for the same (or very close to) price. I frequently do this comparison between human and animal products that are used for ears, eyes and noses. I save a ton of money caring for my senior cats health and maintenance and doesn't contribute to the price hikes most often placed on veterinary products.

Useful ProductI read about the uses for hypochlorous acid and wanted to try it. To my amazement, I used it on my dry cracked hands and it really works! As a technician my hands take a beating and hand sanitizer burns and drys them out. After using this spray, there is a noticeable difference and they feel so much better after using for a few days.
