Chewable just doesn't cut it with my againg Border Collie. He wouldn't touch one of these if it was stuck inside a steak. Border Collies have an extra sense about things. They watch your routines, they figure things out that most dogs are clueless about. Buddy will walk up to his bowl of home cooked dog food made of fat free chicken breast/brown rice and some veggies he just adores. But he will sniff it for a minute as though he's analyzing the contents. If there's even half of one of these crushed or not crushed, diluted, well disguised to any of the rest of us, he walks away. And he won't touch the same food without the aspirin for a few days, as if to punish me. So, I have to dissolve these in as little water as possible, add a tiny bit of sugar, and suck them up into a small syringe and administer them through his back teeth with his jaws clamped as tight as he can get them. And as frustrating as that was, he's getting more used to it and isnt trying to spit it out anymore. Now for the results. They really work. He's 14 and has weak hips from aging. He's been in so much arthritic pain that the vet put him on Tramadol, but they made him drowsy and weaker and so lethargic. Within 2 days of administering these, one in the morning, one 12 hours later, I can see a big difference in his mobility. He stands taller, his back end isn't always drooping with his weakened hind legs. He's willing to walk longer and gets around so much bette We've had to put rugs down everywhere because his legs would just separate and slip down into double splits because he was so feeble and helpless. But now with the rugs and these aspiring, he's gaining some strength, and when he goes outside he jumps around like a puppy again. Of course he's sore later, but he was going downhill so fast before I found a pain relief I could get down him. He will continue to deteriorate with age, but it feels so good to be giving him something to relieve his misery and see him responding so well to it. But if your dog is like mine, don't expect him to embrace these just because they're beef/liver flavored, unless he's a gulper and would swallow anything you offer him.

I have waited a little over a month to write this review, and today sealed the deal for me. My old guy, 13, has been struggling to walk so as a last ditch effort I bought the Nutri-Vet. I saw improvement within days, but also figured maybe he didn’t really need it cause it was ‘just an injury’. You know denial. Well today my husband decided to help feed the dogs, he never does, and since I saw him putting a med in his bowl I didn’t think much of it, but today the pup was struggling to walk. At first I thought ‘oh no’ and then as I ate dinner I had a thought so I asked the husband if he had given the med to our dog. He said no he thought I did. So all of that to say I will never doubt how important this is for my dogs mobility. It really has been life changing for him! Now he can continue his favorite past time.

It takes a careful look at behavior, and there actions, they'll look at you with those big eyes , implementing the Jedi mind tricks , for treats!! but for pain , your left wondering does this stuff really relieve pain , or is it slowly poisoning your beloved pet , some have no regulations , they come from china , and if you ever ordered things from wish , you'll get my point, 1st thing is to take a day so you can watch and take notes if needed , start the med , in a hour check them are they still the same , check their poop , how they eat , and if they drink any water , is their nose dry or wet , look at there eyes closely, touch the injured area , softly , just buy these simple things you'll get your answers, this product I've tested , it's a good pain reliever, it does work , but remember aspirin should be not be giving daily, ( causes tummy trouble ) am still looking for a heavy duty non prescription painkiller , and I know all about hemp seed oil is basically worthless it's a human placebo's not a dogs , and Ive found out it's just pure crap , excuse the vulgar word but it's true , you , I and all of us animals lovers should stick together because most ( not all,, will pray on your weakness , the love of your companion ) and charge you a huge amount of money with 0 zero results, so talking to people that have run the gambit of vets and know how there operating, will give you a more sincere answer, with out using your pet like a genie pig ! Thank you my fellow animal lovers for your time .

My dog takes these for arthritic pain and she's doing very well on them. She seems to like the taste. I can tell she's feeling better, so the pain relief is working.

The lid is impossible to get off! I fought with it for about half an hour and then had to break it off! Totally unnecessary! I hope that when I need to reorder I will be able to find something I can get opened. I haven’t got a report about how well it worked or didn’t work because—-well—-I couldn’t get it opened!
