Quell Original Band - Works with Quell Devices with Serial Numbers Beginning with"5" or"6"

I had just come back from the doctors and was so depressed because the back specialist said he cannot fix my back. So I somehow came across this Quell while looking for anything to take my mind off the fact I would live in serious pain forever. I was in an accident leaving me breaking everything on right side, both knees and pelvis in 2 places. On top of that, I suffer from Fybromyalgia and arthritis from the 5 yrs of corrective surgeries to help repair all of my injuries. The end result is I am bedridden and only get out to go to the doctors. When I would go out, I would be in tears 😭 trying to sleep through the rapid fireworks that races through my nerve endings which make laying here much more painful. Since my back was the worst of all I figured it was the last but not least fix, and was left with no hope.I am not sure where I was when I found Quell but I told my husband I need anything to help. Well Quell is so great, I cannot believe I can get out of bed on my own and walk to the living room. I am so elated with my Quell and my pain has decreased to a point I only need my meds at Nite now and don’t take 2 pain meds I was on for 14 yrs.You know how you can tell it is working? Try going a day without it, then you will know how much it helps. I find it so overwhelming having to live with the extreme pain but Quell takes care of the fibromyalgia, the injury pain , but most of all! It has relieved my sensory nerve overload which overtook my life most of all and I don’t have the tossing and turning at bedtime.To conclude. Having had TENS therapy in clinical settings multiple times for sports-related injuries, I found it impossible to ascertain it's efficacy due to the short duration of use and multiple concurrent treatment modalities. But after being diagnosed with Parkinson's, I experienced an overall increase in pain in my extremities, seemingly unrelated to old injuries. I read about the Quell device and thought the potential pain relief was worth the small investment... particularly since it came with a 30-day return policy. That was 2 years ago, and I'm a happy long-term user.Once getting accustomed to the slightly creepy feeling of frequent TENS pulses (feels to me like insects walking on my skin), I noticed a lessening of leg pain. Over a couple weeks, that pain relief expanded to my lower back, my main locus of pain. Over time, I've increased the power of the stim, which is easily adjustable via smartphone. After 2 years I purchased a new sports band when the first became too stretched out to tighten. I replace the electrodes when they become soiled, approx once a month. I love this device!

Good pain reliever

Quell unit a great product. The band is lacking a little in that it wears out over time. This happens due to the Velcro holder stretching out. With a large calf and wearing it all day everyday...it just goes. Good that they sell additional holders

It fits the Quell device, the Velcro is very poor quality and I had to improvise a Velcro strap to keep the device in the pocket of the band itself. I reached out to Quell but they refused to take my suggestion to improve the pocket and to provide some kind of snap to lock the band and prevent it from working itself loose while wearing. The strips which fasten to the device are extremely flimsy and the adhesive gel is pathetic. I have some bio-medical abilities and created something that works better. The Quell device, however is a good tens device. I recommend finding a used or reconditioned device rather than paying the over-inflated asking price.

In the pictures the original is on the bottom, this product on top. This product is a cheaper material, it doesn’t have the holes in it so it traps more heat in. The original has extra cloth to make a real pocket to hold the unit itself. The new product just has a slot and a rubber material on top to create friction that holds the unit in place in the slot. This means the unit slides around more than it should and can be annoying.

I have been using the Quell since January 2018 for both of my knees and lower back. It has changed my life! I am pain free 90% of the time now. I had a left knee replacement 3 years ago which has never been pain free since the surgery. In fact, the pain is as bad as before. I also need a right knee replacement which I am putting off now since I am mostly pain free. I had surgery on my lower back 35 years ago which wasn't successful and still causes me great pain. Quell has taken that pain away as well. I am now water and snow skiing with minimum pain where as before, I could barely ski. I would recommend it to anyone that is experiencing back or knee pain. It could change your life as well!

My husband has had chronic lower back pain for several years, He had had 8 surgeries in the past 5 years. Nome of them helped. Tens units burned his skin. He has been using the Quell for 3 months. It is WORKING!!!!!!!!!! No more tens units, weaning off of opioids, freedom!!!!
