I don’t know what we did before we had the OWL
My teams of been experiencing group meeting (Zoom, Teams, google) fatigue. Given the scope of our often “group project” based meetings to cover updates, we had people call in from respective offices vs meeting using our meeting rooms. We bought an OWL system to enable out teams to meet and share space with distance teams int he most functional manner The Owl system was so simples to install, plug it in, initiate the system and you are off and running on your zoom meeting. The system allows multiple people in our meeting room to be on one line, speak watch and focus on the meeting, allowing the pertinent person to be the area of focus as they present. The camera is amazing, the sound is super clear! This system made the meetings fun, functional and will allow our in person and remote teams greater ease and access to each other, a win for us in productivity and connectivity. The 360-degree camera works flawlessly, this a “must have” for meetings to enhance cross functionality. I recommend the OWL system, you will wonder why you didn’t have the OWL before, we will be buying these at each remote office.

Unbeatable Performance and Durability: Meeting Owl 3 Review After 2 Years of Use - Just buy it !
I purchased the Meeting Owl 3 (Next Gen) in 2022, and after two years of extensive and abusive use, I can confidently say it's a game-changer when it comes video conferencing. First Thing is the great Voice Tracking. The voice tracker is a standout feature. It's impressively accurate, seamlessly pinpointing who's speaking in the room. This has made our remote meetings more engaging and inclusive, as it feels like being in the room with the team. Specially since we have the owl in the front of the room. The angle of the camera is great becuase of the 360 Degree view. 360-Degree panoramic view is another aspect where the Meeting Owl 3 excels. It can comfortably handle up to three people speaking from different locations, offering a 360-degree view. This feature has been particularly beneficial in our large conference room, ensuring everyone is seen and feels part of the conversation. Super Audio Quality that despite our conference room having less-than-ideal acoustics, the audio quality has never been a concern. Everyone is heard clearly even from a distance of 17 feet. It’s remarkable how well the Meeting Owl 3 performs in a space not typically conducive to good audio. A testament to its durability, our Meeting Owl 3 has survived about nine drops and still functions perfectly. This resilience is an added bonus, especially in a busy office environment where accidents can happen. Just buy it ! The Meeting Owl 3 is a robust, efficient, and user-friendly device that has transformed our virtual meeting experience. It's an investment that pays off by enhancing communication and collaboration in a hybrid working environment. If you're on the fence about it, my advice is simple: just buy it. You won't regret it.

Well worth it!
This item was recommended by a friend. We had never used it before. It arrived quickly as promised. It was easy to set up and use. And it worked beautifully greatly improving our board meeting for those who are not able to attend in person.

Great but limited with 1080p video
I love the idea and design of the owl. Unfortunately it is limited by the 1080p and the price. As one of the most expensive product on amazon for video conferencing it should give crystal clear video as its intended for larger spaces. You can pay several thousand to get their 4k version which is way too much. If this was 4k at its $850 price point I would be a fan for life. In an age of 65-85” TVs used for conferencing we should not see 1080p for this type of product as it looks terrible. Other than that it is easy to use, has a great interface and isnt cheap chinese garbage.

A Tech Enthusiast's Reluctant Admiration for Simplicity and Efficiency
Awarding the Meeting Owl 3 a full 5/5 stars comes with a bit of a tech enthusiast's chagrin. As someone deeply involved in IT solutions, I initially approached this device with skepticism, expecting it to be another overhyped gadget. However, I was taken aback by its sheer effectiveness and simplicity. What's most impressive about the Meeting Owl 3 is its plug-and-play functionality. It's incredibly user-friendly to set up and operate. Once installed in conference rooms, it virtually eliminated the need for tech support calls. The 360-degree camera and high-definition video quality, combined with its smart microphone and speaker system, create not a perfect, but a seamless meeting experience. Though it may not be perfect, its reliability and ease of use are indisputable. It's "idiot-proof," which is a rare and highly valued quality in tech products, especially those used in a professional setting. The Meeting Owl 3 proves that sometimes, the simplest solutions are the most effective, making it a must-have for any organization looking to streamline their video conferencing setup.

Amazingly smart camera w/speakers
You no longer need to settle for a conference room picture that shows a huge table with tiny people sitting around it. That's so 2020. Once you have seen or used the Meeting Owl you will never go back. The folks at the other end of the call see both a 360º view of your room plus a closeup of whomever is speaking; if two people are speaking, both are shown side-by-side. It even tracks speakers who are moving around the room. The closeup images are transformed and scaled to remove the distortion caused by the fisheye lens. It's like having multiple cameras and a camera operator except that it's all automatic. It's spooky smart. In my view, the quality of the image of a speaker impacts their effectiveness as a meeting participant. In my view, this product will increase the power of your speakers, period. Place it in the middle of a conference table.

Only good for conference tables with participants sitting close to it.
+ Its speaker and microphone are really good. Like, crazy good. + The other good thing is how well it zooms in on the person who is speaking... I forgot what they call it, but I think it's "follow speaker". + And it's multi-speaker function is great, so if we have 3 people speaking, it shows each speaker's face taking up 1/3 of the screen each.. I don't think it does more than 3 people, but in most cases, you won't have 3 people over-talking one another like our office's ladies tend to do to one another. + Another benefit, It can sync with a 2nd Owl so you get a longer room view that only uses a single webcam stream, which is great. - ^ Unfortunately that 2nd Owl needs to be about 12' max from the 1st one. We have a long, narrow office, which is horrible for large meetings, and I was hoping to space the 2 Owls about 20' away from one another. - The other negative is that are wired-only. For costing about $1,000, you would hope these could operate wireless! - The worst aspect is that the camera has horrible resolution, it claims 1080p but I'd not even claim it to be 720p, it's so blurry. We have 2 Owls, one purchased about 1 year later than the other, and both are just terrible. SO, the best application for an Owl is for conference room tables, NOT for open floor seating like my team uses it for. The participants are expected to be about 6' away from the owl, and at that distance the image quality isn't too bad, perhaps nearly 720p quality. And a 2-Owl synced configuration is the same, meant for conference room tables where each person is about 6' away from either Owl. I my long, narrow office floor space, I would rather just set up a few spare laptops down the length of the room and join each to the meeting... the microphone issue would still be a big problem for us, though, so then we would need a mixing console for the mics spread along the floor length and have just 1 laptop doing the audio and mic.

New but cool Technology!
Advantages: It was easy to use by simply putting it into a USB type C port and configuring the microphone, camera, and speakers on the OWL LAB! The camera and microphone quality are both excellent. The speaker was also good for a webinar in a large boardroom! Disadvantages: It appears that you do not have eye contact with others who are online if you are using a large screen or a different screen or your laptop screen is face in a different direction from the OWL cameras! Another issue was that the camera couldn't zoom in on the people seated at the far end of the boardroom table, although it could detect them, but it was not able to fully zoom on them. Overall, this is a cool technique that I would recommend!

Good product, but video quality needs to be improved
The device is easy to setup. Both the mic and speaker are pretty decent as well, but the video quality is a major disappointment. For a conferencing device at this price point, i expect much better. The video quality is about par with my laptop built in camera. That's how poor it is...

Highly recommended
Fantastic device for webconferencing, especially if your setup is usually with a room full of people sitting around a table. Fantastic quality for video and audio and very easy to setup.
