It has some weight to it so it does help with balancing a medium to light weighted mic. I have my ride panic attached and it’s pretty stable in most angles and positions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The base isn’t weighted for max stability if using for other than application. *by on Reviewed in the United States 29 July 2026* If you're looking for a microphone stand with a weighted base, I'd recommend looking at a different option. However, if you just need a simple desktop mic stand for basic use, this is a good choice. It didn't work well for me because I'm using it as a stand for 5-pound speakers, which is beyond its intended purpose. It does work for my application, but I may add Velcro to the bottom since the base isn't heavy or wide enough to provide much stability. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Iron and steel! *by on Reviewed in the United States 3 April 2026* This isn’t a five star review like it’s a KUPO stand, but it’s a full five stars for the price!! No plastic. Iron and steel. The weighted base is heavy enough and the rise/tilt lever holds very well. You have to crank on the tightened pretty hard, but when it’s tight it has the perfect friction to hold steady but also to adjust tilt on the fly.I personally wanted the lowest stand possible so I cut the riser tubes with a pipe cutter you use for plumbing. ## Frequently Bought Together - 5 Core 3in1 Multifunctional Mic Stand Desk Adjustable Desktop Table Microphone Stands w 180° Rotating Mic Clip Phone Holder Super Stable Round Base w Universal Metal Adapter Black - MS RBS BOOM - Stagg 3M / 10ft XLR to XLR Cable, 3-Pin Male to Female, Suitable for Microphone, PA System, Audio Mixer, Studio Monitors, Audio Recording - Shure SM58-LC Cardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone with Pneumatic Shock Mount, Spherical Mesh Grille with Built-in Pop Filter, A25D Mic Clip, Storage Bag, 3-pin XLR Connector --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/442930490-5-core-3-in-1-multi-function-desk-microphone-stand](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/442930490-5-core-3-in-1-multi-function-desk-microphone-stand) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
