So-so for gun safe
Bought this for my gun safe. Was hoping for a light to mount that would have a motion sensor that would pick up on me opening the door and light up, then go back out once I close the door. Unfortunately the motion sensor isn't sensitive enough to pick up on the door opening. The package states that the motion sensor detects motion up to one and a half inches away, and in that, it's true, unfortunately that wasn't evident in the item description. The lights are definitely nice an bright, and light up a safe well, just don't count on the motion sensor to automatically set them off. If you just want to mount them and use the push button on-and-off, they'll do the job fine.

Not recommended
I do not recommend this product. I bought this item to help light the way for my older dog who has trouble seeing on the way out to the dog door and outside. However, these so-called motion-detector lights only detect motion about 1 inch away and not further. So, if there is any motion in the room (unless put you hand right over it, which might as well just push on button) then the lights do not come on. Also the units are way bigger than they appear in the picture -- about the size of your hand. I thought they were like and inch or two across from the picture, but they are quite large. After a short time even the 'close-up' motion detector does not work well, seems to loose effectiveness.

At fist light (sic) it looks like a good idea
At fist light (sic) it looks like a good idea. after use it just does not . difficult to replace batteries, the light output is weak, the swivelsmove, one constantly has to fiddle with it. I purchased several and still have some in unopened packages.Others might find them useful I didn't.

Bright but gimmicky
We bought these to use as closet lights. I like the fact you can aim the light bars ( they do cover a large areawith adequate light ) but the motion activated feature is more gimmick than feature. Pushing the button worksbetter ( more reliably ). Still, a good bargain for a three pack.

Great lights for gun safe
I purchased these lights for a gun safe and couldn't be more satisfied. The lights are very versatile in the way they mount (comes with Velcro and screw hardware), the way they turn on (motion sensor or touch), and how they swivel so you can project the light. I bought one pack of 3 for my safe and plan on buying one more pack to complete the project.

Excellent for gun safe
Stack - On® 10 - Gun Safe with Combination LockStack - On® 8 - gun Security Cabinet I bought the "Pelion Motion Activated Wireless LED Accent Light 3 Pack" for use in my gun safe, no complaint, the motion sensor work, when I pass my hand, turn on the light, really good light and the same, when the motion sensor no detect movement the light automatically turn off.

Motion Activated LED lights
I bought this item for my gun safe. Excellent item to have! It lights up the hole safe and has a motion detector so you do not have to worry about turning it on or off. I like the AA batteries which can be bought anywhere

Moderately decent. Stickum releases. Sensor short range.
We thought we'd test out undercabinet lights, and these were pretty low cost. These do produce a moderate amount of light and can be aimed in several directions. Each edged of the triad can be tilted separately.Unfortunately, there are several issues.#1, even at maximum brightness with new batteries, these are modest lighting. They're better for low-light situations where you just need to see a little bit.#2, these are blue-white LEDs rather than 2700K like incandescent. The color balance takes some mental adjustment and makes food look less appetizing.#3, If you use the super-adhesive velcro pads to hang these up, be advised that the adhesive is not good on unfinished wood surfaces. Waking up in the middle of the night to a loud kerthunk downstairs is unsettling, especially when it happens several times as each of these release. Industrial staples through the velcro, or using screws to mount the back are advised.#4, the motion sensor is good for about 3 inches, and is twitchy. Trying to get two or three of these set to the same level is difficult.#5, The timer is short. If you waive early, they change brightness.#6, If you set to manual/button activated, then they never turn off.#7, Light output is maybe 50% after 10-15 hours of use. YMMV. I'd recommend lithium cells for better light output.Overall, I think it's worth the expense to get wall-powered undercabinet lights. I still recommend LED style due to power/heat savings, but get something that's a more natural light color, more light output, and a single switch per work area.
