I got SVBONY SV165 (FL:120mm) with this camera. I could not find sensor size from spec. rough measure is about 4mmx6mm (don't quote on me). with FL 120mm, sharpCap gives about FOV 2.41'x1.36', which is easy to get enough stars for polar alignment. by the way, using .5x reducer to increase FOV does not work due to image low quality. I also tried SV205, even though it has 8M, but picture quality is far behind SC001, especially color compensation. ( Yes SV205 has more control allowed, but SC001 seems do it automatically quite well, in both day light condition on my spotting scope and on my night telescope. Another shining point is the WiFi feature, which makes the telescope very stable, I don't need bring the cellphone adapter for either my telescope or spotting scope. easy to capture and share the pictures. it does have some limitation: I cannot get ASCOM working even after downloaded ASCOMPlatform and SVBONY Camera drivers. so I cannot use PHD2 and NINA at this time. maybe it is only supported in SV305, that will be a big plus if it supports ASCOM. but you get what you paid for. Another chance of improvement: the front build-in filter (UV/IR) has female C-Mount instead of standard 1.25 thread, if you want to add other standard 1.25 filter, you have to use the adapter to convert C-Mount to 1.25, which is extra 1" long, this caused some struggle for FL. I plan to buy a standard UV/IR filter to solve this, if it can come with standard UV/IR filter (1.25) with a short 1.25 to C-Mount adapter, that will all cases easier. I'm picky on purchase. even it has some limitation, but really enable many my other scopes to use this. this is one of the few 5 I'd give. The camera crops the edges of the image, so it appears zoomed in compared to what is seen through the eyepiece; the quality of image is good but not excellent, so it seems better take photos directly with cell phone camera 🤷🏽‍♂️... I took it to the shooting range and it worked pretty well, but I needed a second guy to spot. Got home and started looking around for a digital solution so I could shoot by myself and this came up. For $100, I’m pleased. Fits right in the standard 1.25” eyepiece receptacle. The telescope came with two eyepieces: 20 mm (45x zoom) and 10 mm (90x zoom). There’s not much information on the SC001, but I’d say it’s right at that 90x zoom. I don’t know a lot about optics, but I’m betting that with spotting scopes and telescopes with adjustable magnification, the SC001 will be fixed at the maximum. That’s a little tight for me at 100 yards if I’m not already on paper, but once I’m close it will work well, and I can use the 20 mm standard eyepiece to get there. It should do very well at 200 yards. There’s no zoom in the app. I bought a 0.5x magnification reducer and will report back if it works. The picture with four targets is at 100 yards exactly. I’d say reading that little text at 100 yards is pretty good for a cheap telescope with the SC001! Relative to the other reviews, the live preview worked well on both my iPhone 13 Pro Max and on an old Nexus 7” tablet.
