I had done a lot of research and it is really difficult to find age specific inflatables that don't break quickly, look awesome, and functionally work. I chose this one because it has three key features the other similiar motorboats lacked.1. Little inflatable flag, cute.2. Steering wheel that turns.3. Horn, while annoying to adults it keeps the kids busy.4. Little Green Frog. I know, it sounds odd but for bath time they love it. Bonus.ProTip - It is broken up into sections in terms of inflation. He never cared to be in water but this way he can be in the water and not get too wet and he enjoyed it a lot.
