Top quality trainer.
A really first-class indoor trainer. Assembly was simple and easy; not much to assemble, really. Construction is solid and gives it a really professional appearance. There is plenty of weight to insure a stable platform. There are six settings for the magnetic resistance, and each setting produces a noticeable difference, whether up or down. Delivery included an extra quick-release that fits the mounts, in case your bike has different axles. The trainer fits my 700 x 25 wheels and tires perfectly. I am using smooth road tires, and there is no noise, only a slight, smooth vibration from the tire. I have owned several trainers over the years, and this is the best in all ways. Amazing quality for the price.

Exactly what I needed. Wish I'd bought it sooner!
I got it last Tuesday (Oct 23 '18), and so far everything works correctly, it even surpassed all my expectations, and I am very happy with it! The initial setup was tricky because I had to get the settings right, but now it's a breeze to convert my bike into a stationary and vice versa. This trainer is VERY sturdy and allows for a nice range of rear axle lengths and tire widths, and once it is set it only should take tightening / loosing the red QR handle to get the bike in or out. The bike neither should wiggle nor be so tight in that the frame of the trainer flexes more than just a bit when the QR is "closed". Finding the "Goldilocks fit" took some time initially, but then there hasn't been any further problem. And YES, IT WORKS WITH NUTTED (bolt-on) AXLES, best with axle nuts are the domed ("Acorn"-) type. (Those nuts are available at Amazon). Quick release axles might need the (included) skewer. It will NOT work with internal gear hubs; the shifting mechanism of those would not allow to fit the bike in the trainer. THE CORRECT SETTING OF THE REAR WHEEL AGAINST THE ROLLER IS CRITICAL, and it took me quite some tweaking to get it right! From that experience: excessive noise; rubber coming off the tire; and the bike wheel getting hot most possibly might be caused by the roller being set too tight against the wheel, or the tire not having the required pressure. I found out that setting the roller so it JUST turns when the wheel is spun (check by hand when setting), and then adding MAX. 1-2 extra turns on the setting bolt are just right. NOISE: This trainer is not silent, but the noise level should be low enough to not to be annoying or drowning out normal music or TV sound. At first I had the roller set too tight against the tire, and that was noisy!- now that I found the correct setting it's very acceptable IMA. In any case I am scheduling my workout at times when neighbors are not sleeping or wanting to rest. The box should contain: The trainer (the resistance level setting knob is attached); a skewer; a riser block for the front wheel; instructions (which are in readable English and include some pictures). The peg that goes in between the roller setting screw and the roller mechanism tends to fall out when the machine is not set up; be careful! Final note: I am using this with a Schwinn Sanctuary 7 cruiser; later on I will use my Schwinn Ranger MTB on it. Settings may vary with different bike and tire sizes and types.

Good value for the price, so far...
The box arrived in good condition and no parts were missing. The assembly instructions aren't great but aren't bad, and there's very little assembly so not a big deal. When I first mounted my mountain bike and started riding I was shocked by how loud it was. I'm not sure I would have continued using the trainer at that volume. Also, the action felt a little jerky to me at first, but it was the first time on any bike trainer for me so anything was going to be a step down from road riding. The next day I ordered a slick tire (26" WTB ThickSlick Comp tire) and OMG what a difference - the volume dropped by at least 70%. I also got used to the feel of the resistance and the pedaling became smoother for me. To get a good 30-minute workout I have to put my bike in the highest gear and fluctuate the resistance dial between the top 3 settings (4-6). I'm a 57 year-old moderate athlete, so someone in really good shape might not be as happy with this trainer. The jury is still out regarding durability and tire wear, but so far so good.

Better than expected.
I have been looking for an exercise bike to replace my treadmill due to having issues with pain in my left ankle. When I'd get stressed, I'd walk...now I can't. A friend suggested an exercise bike and I thought, DUH! What a good idea. As I was researching I came across the term Bike Trainer. Had never heard of such a thing and did some further research. What a life saver! I have a very expensive bike that I've not had the opportunity to ride for the last year due to extreme work hours and just life. This seemed like a win win: inside exercise bike and utilization of an expensive bike I already owned. I ordered the black version of this, item arrived quickly and was as described. Everything you'd need was included. I had it out of the box and my bike set up in under 30 minutes. It includes a tension adjuster so you can increase the tension and get a variable exercise experience. The quick release is awesome, takes less than a few minutes to release my bike and fold up the trainer to put away. However, I leave it set up in my living room and ride while I watch TV before bed. It is not silent and the faster you pedal the louder it gets, but it is nothing excessive in my opinion. Just the same as the road noise you'd get riding your bike outside with some beefy mountain bike tires. It is also pretty sturdy. I'm 5" and almost 200lbs (hence the need to exercise) and I can stand up and pedal along with sitting to pedal at slow or fast speeds with no feeling of the bike falling over (or falling off). I've very pleased with this so far, great purchase.

Good substitute for the gym
Great product so far (first day) . My gym is closed for the foreseeable future and I needed a way to do my regular low-impact cardio workouts. Normally I do 30 minutes on the cross trainer every other day. I need to get my heart rate up without putting too much stress on my sore knee and hip. I decided to give this stand a try. Today I got the best workout in months. much better than the cross-trainer sessions I am used to. I'm totally sold. I was worried that the larger leg motions of stationary biking might be uncomfortable for me but no problem. Between the bike gears and the variable magnetic resistance it was easy to find a setting that was challenging but not uncomfortable. To get on and off safely I needed to put some stools on either side - I'm an older guy with some balance and flexibility limitations. The stand is solidly built and the finish looks shiny and durable. Assembly was very easy. I looked at the directions a bit but assembly was really intuitive. There is a long cable extending from the stand to the handlebars and it could get tangled in a person's feet. I used some disposable fasteners to attach the cable to the frame of the bike. It's fairly quiet but I only gave it four stars for "Noise level" because it does make some noise. I don't know what to compare it to - I don't use the stationary bikes at the gym. I'll post a follow-up if I encounter any difficulties.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT TRAINER
1) Whisper quiet. 2) Very stable ride. 3) When the bike is mounted on the trainer, it's easy enough to slide it around should the need arise. 4) Excellent 1-to-6 resistance settings (from Spinning to Steep Climb). 5) Initial setup is doable alone but a little awkward. Much better with a helper. 6) Although I leave my bike on the trainer permanently, switching back and forth from trainer-ride to road-ride would be easy enough to accomplish.

Nice But Not Easy In/Out
this is a good little system for riding your bike in your garage on a rainy day. It assembles easily. your bike clips in via the rear wheel. the front wheel sits in a little wheel holder. And once you get it in, if you leave it there as I did for most of the winter, and used it every day, it works great. The problem occurs when you repeatedly try to get the thing in and out of the rear holder. It is a pain! it is very hard to sit the bike axle and line it up properly and get it clamped in. Often you think it’s in, you sit on it and it falls to the side. furthermore, if you have a 10 speed bike, there is a very sensitive arm holding the gears just below this locking mechanism. And if it’s not locked in just properly or if you fumble with it while you’re trying to lock it in, you will rip that arm off the bike or weaken it. Long story short, great for inside use of a bike if it’s gonna be for a prolonged period of time. Not great if you plan on clipping and unclipping this bike several times a week depending on the weather. For that, there’s a better product out there that is easier and safer for your bike and you.

Good value for$$ - Customer Support is great
Edit 03/16/2023: Their customer support and assistance is by far the best I have experienced! After a few more emails about the previous replacement unit they had shipped (see original review below), their support representative went way above anything I had expected and replaced the entire unit. The replacement is brand-new and works the way it should, quiet and smooth. Here's a company that really stand behind their product and is willing to work with a customer to make things right if given the chance. I certainly would purchase from them again. ---------------------------------------------------- Original review: Purchased this stand to get some exercise while the winter weather is too ugly to go outside. Never owned one before so I went for the less expensive unit. Works fine, easy set-up, easy to use, nothing fancy. Problem came up about 2 to 3 months (approx 400 miles) later. Thing got really noisy, not just the expected tire noise. It started whining with a really noisy rumble that turned into loud scream as things got worse. Cranking the pedals by hand to observe, I also noticed the resistance wheel was wobbly and just screaming along even at low RPM. Not cool after 3 months of use. So, very disappointed there. Contacted the seller by email and was very surprised to actually hear back from them within 24 hrs! A couple of emails back and forth to give them details they wanted and they sent out a replacement. Surprised again. Opened the box and noticed the unit had some wear marks on the aluminum roller. Hm. Used unit. Swapped out the old screamer with the replacement unit and it was quiet. Nice. I figured I let them know I wasn't too happy about getting a used one and the customer service rep got back within 24 hrs again and we figured things out. Let's see how long this one lasts. My opinion: The stand is ok for the price, nothing fancy, pretty basic. Quality is lacking, considering the resistance wheel (most likely bearings) died after 400 miles in less than 3 months. So, not too thrilled about the quality. Maybe 2 stars for that. Customer support: Now that's a very pleasant surprise and not what one would expect from any company. Not only a response within 24 hrs but actually making an effort to make things right. For that I would rate 5 stars. All in all - 4 stars, mainly because of their customer support. Would I buy another one from them if I were to look for another stand? No, not that particular model. But I would consider another model from them just for the customer support.

Super quality, excellent preserver of sanity and wellbeing
Our family now owns four of these trainers. I have one at my place, and one at the house of my mom and her husband, where there is also one for each of them. Both my mom and her husband are seniors, and stability, safety, and ease of use were critical. They are also very different physically - my mom is pretty tiny, and her husband is tall and has a bigger frame to match. This trainer works great for all of us. It can be a bit fiddly to install the very first time, to make sure you get the bike securely mounted. But follow the (clear) directions and it's easy. It's then quick and easy to take the bike in and out as needed. When I ride outside, I just leave the Sportneer axle in place. They do make a bit of noise, but are MUCH quieter than others I have experienced. Putting them on a mat or carpet, as recommended, helps a lot. We had an issue with one, and Sportneer provided EXCELLENT customer service. I am recommending these enthusiastically to friends and families.

Value for money Turbo Trainer
I was looking for a cheaper turbo trainer than Halfords versions. I opted for the Sportneer Magnetic version. I was a little worried it might not fit my 700 x 23C wheels but on arrival it was no problem to install. I bought the Amazon recommended speed and cadence sensors and the bike computer. All items team up perfectly and I was up and cycling in no time. The slot where the skewer fits on the skewer handle side does not seem to fit the handle snuggly in the cutouts for the handle as it seems to bottom out. But it is tight enough not to move after adjusting the thread. In low gears ( big cogs) the noise is very quiet on the minimal tread tyres on my racing cycle. As you go into higher gears you do get vibration and more noise but it’s not a problem for me. I have yet to try my turbo tyre to see if it’s any different. The bike is very stable in use and the adjuster 1 - 6 works well. I don’t know if the fluid version is much different to the magnetic but for the cost of the turbo trainer I think it is very good value for money and more than adequate for my needs. Well pleased with speed of delivery and item quality. The instructions were clear with photographs and in EN, FR, DE, IT, ES, JP and Safety Warnings in EN, FR, DE, IT, ES, NL, PL, SE, TR, JP, but close ups of a bike skewer fitted correctly would help. The instructions also come with photographs for a thru axle fitment but only the skewer arrived with the trainer. I guess you need to contact the seller if you want to use it with a thru axle or see if Amazon supply a thru axle version. The photo on the Amazon page which shows whether the turbo trainer will fit your bike is a little unclear and could be improved to cater for all prospective buyers and clear wheel sizes.

Molto soddisfatto
