This was recommended to me by the nurse practitioner at my doctor's office. The instructions and results are clear, easy to follow. I'm happy to have this in my menopausal tool kit, and hope that it will help in avoiding UTIs.

I like this kit, very easy to understand and use. My only annoyance is it doesn’t help much with testing for yeast. Which is the main reason I purchased it. In the color code test panel it says a yeast infection is in the yellow area (same with a normal pH) but if you have itching, burning, or the thick curdled discharge it’s likely a yeast infection. Well, I can just look out for those symptoms without the kit ha. This kit is likely more helpful to those checking in on BV symptoms. Either way, it’s good to have to check the pH once in a while anyways.

So happy for this test. It answered my quandary helped me decide if I needed to make a dr appointment or just take over the counter medicine. Very helpful and accurate.

This product does NOT test for or diagnose yeast infections. When you open the package it explains that even if you have a yeast infection, the ph results will not indicate that. It then goes on to describe the symptoms of a yeast infection (which most women already know and those who don’t can easily look up online). Since I bought it to diagnose a yeast infection, it is totally useless.

Not impressed. Kind of hard to distinguish the colors. The testing strips seem pretty cheap. Probably would have been better to get evaluated by MD. It’s easier to read a urinalysis than this.

These strips are accurate in reading your ph balance. For those who say they used water prior in order to compare their actual results is actually an inaccurate way to test the efficacy of these tests. Water and vaginal fluid have different ph balances; a normal water ph balance is dark, and an abnormal vaginal ph balance is also high. Whereas an abnormal water ph balance is low and a normal vaginal ph balance is also low. Therefore, do not deem these tests a fluke by comparing it to water test results as they cannot be interpreted the same. I would recommend you give them a chance and follow the instructions for a better understanding of your results. Ultimately if your results don’t add up to your symptoms, see your provider for sure for better and more accurate understanding and solutions.

I have a selection of these tests that are best at putting your mind at ease when you are being pedantic or just to save an appointment with the doctor if you have anxiety issues like me. Easy to use and good quality setup so definitely value for money
