Cessna 172 with Connectible Runway in Aviation Museums Nationwide

We got this plane for fun as a token for a Christmas gift (the main gift was a digital copy of Microsoft Flight Sim). It's actually really well made and has some weight to it. The included runway is a nice touch, and makes for a cool little display piece.

Nice little model. Same as the toy cars.

Used this for a cake topper. Worked perfectly. Didn't even smudge the frosting! Nicely built. But, I wouldn't let a small child play with the prop. Could bend easily. And the plane wants to be a taildragger if you don't have it balanced properly.

I got my Dad flying lessons for christmas and to add to it I gave him this model of the plane he will be flying on. It's an accurate die cast model except for the front landing gear. I'm not sure why all models like this have that funny looking front wheel with the rest of the plane accurate but it does.

This airplane and runway were a hit for my new pilot's birthday. It fit perfectly on my 8" round cake. When the cake was gone, it was a nice souvenir gift for the birthday boy. He was pretty proud that he could fly the toy Cessna and land it on the mini runway. The plane seemed well made with attention to detail.

These are great tools for flight/ground training. Have owned many through the years for study and teaching.

Hot Wings consistently produces awesome die cast aircraft toys. Be aware that unlike Hot Wheels or Matchbox, they are not to the same scale as each other; this toy Cessna is about the same size as a Hot Wings fighter jet or jumbo airliner. Having all the toys the same size is a plus for kids, and I've yet to meet a kid who cares about the scale of the models.

I thought it would be a little bit bigger but it definitely gets the job done. I'm training to become a certified flight instructor and this will be a great tool for some visual demonstrations for my students. some models can be very expensive when something simple like this can get the job done. Plus it's just a fun little plane to play with for little kids.

Bonito pero pequeñito

Amazing quality and you can even see through the windows and see the seats!

Great little model for flight instruction. I keep it on my desk and use it to demonstrate basic aircraft attitudes, turns, climbs, descents, and traffic patterns to students before heading to the airplane. The detachable parts are a nice touch for explaining the aircraft, and it’s sturdy enough to be handled regularly. A useful teaching aid and a nice-looking display piece for any Cessna instructor or pilot.

Dont care much for the runway/taxicab block. Fun toy model for flight school

Very well made ... not rubbish ...
