I had been using Master Krew Comb for decades when the company went out of business. Now you have to pay an arm and a leg for the scarce stock left on eBay. This is an acceptable replacement for Master Krew Comb - a bit stickier than I’d like, but holds just like Krew Comb.

This is great! My husband has this and I tried it myself. The tiniest amount tames my hair and gives it a little shine and gives my fine hair more texture/volume. Be very careful though. Too much makes your hair kind of greasy. A tiny amount is like magic!

At 65 and balding I joined my fellow old guys and buzzed my head to a crew cut and to keep it neat and standing up I bought a jar of the same stuff my dad bought me for the crew cut I wore until I was 13, and again while I was in the Army: Lucky Tiger! This is the exact same butch wax it was in the 1960’s. So nice to know there’s one or two things still around from our youth that gives quality at a good price! Keeps my crew standing up without being too greasy, and lasts all day once your hair is trained. There was another similar product back then called LB butch wax, now long gone, but it was the exact same thing as Lucky Tiger Cru-Butch wax and smells better! Rub some between your fingers to smooth it out then just smooth it over your hair/entire head and then get your Mens butch brush (military hair brush) out and brush it back! Keeps your crew cut standing up and neat all day! You can’t go wrong with Lucky Tiger!

Holds well and doesn't smell bad. But it won't wash out for several washings. Was disappointed in that aspect of it.

Great product, does what it says it does. However it is not something I will continue to use as it is made from petroleum based ingredients. This is a personal preference to not use products with such ingredients. This however does not reflect the efficacy of the product, so if you are not fussed about the source of ingredients I would fully endorse this wax, although it is a tad expensive compared to other products.

Das Produkt ist nichts für mich. Bei Styling Produkten kommt es natürlich immer sehr auf die Haarstruktur und die gewünschten Effekte an. Für meine relativ kruzen und eher dünnen Haare ist das Produkt vie zu fettig.
