We have 3 pit bulls and they all 3 get hot spots and flaky skin!! We had bought our dogs some Racheal Ray dogs food and ALL 3 of our fur babies started losing their hair and had to go to the vet! We came to the conclusion it was the food and we switched them back to bully breed dog food (it's pricey but worth it) In the meantime, our dogs still itched had spots and flaky skin! We took a chance and bought this product Zesty paws!!! IT WAS LIKE MAGIC we gave them a teaspoon each and the next day flakiness was gone!! A teaspoon each for 3 days and their hair on their spots was starting to show growth and their coat was so soft and looked so healthy!!! This stuff works wonders, and our dogs love it! We just mix it with their dog food, but they will lick it off the spoon too!!! My German Shepherd loves this added to his food. Over the past month or two I've noticed improvements in his skin and fur. He's not as itchy as he used to be and has more energy.

I’m not really sure about health benefits yet, but my dog does appreciate having a little of this on her chew treat in the morning. I’m trying to treat dry brittle coat and itchy skin, and so far a week of this supplement along with the Zesty Paws Omega Bites skin and coat have made a noticeable difference. I give her a chew stick with the coconut oil rubbed on it once a day. She loves it and her coat is getting softer, shiner, and she isn’t scratching as Mitch this winter.

My dog loves this coconut oil. I put it in her food to help her stop scratching...and she did fast. She even eats it without the food.

My charcoal labrador has had a history of skin/coat problems. I have used supplements and Omega Oils to try to improve his coat and dry skin. I decided to give coconut oil a try and after my first container I can unequivocally say "I AM SOLD" Django's coat is shiny, no flaky dry skin and hair loss on spots. His coat has gone from a brittle stiff feeling hair to a shiny soft coat. Mind you, his supplements have stayed identical. They ONLY thing I changed was using the coconut oil. I add some to their food each time they eat and they love licking the jar outside after pouring it on the food. The coconut oil has a pleasant odor, not the fishy smell the other oils have. If you pup has coat or skin issues, try this oil out. I actually topically have been putting it on his elbows that he develops calluses from laying on them and it is doing great used topically too. We've given our boys several of the Zesty Paws brand products and they always love them and they work! We recently ordered the coconut oil and (being Kansas in July) it melted. Which I expected. If you leave it at room temperature (cool, dry place) it will harden back up and is safe for your dog. It can take several hours. Just to be sure, I called Zesty Paws and they confirmed it would be safe. I do want to take a moment to say that the customer service is EXCELLENT! It's not very often you can call a big company, leave a message, and they call you back within a couple hours. I definitely recommend all things Zesty Paws!

Item was delivered damaged, leaking into the box. Been using this for about a month and have not seen a difference
