Review: My daughter loves the Ivy and Bean books! - I got this Ivy and Bean book on Kindle for my daughter. She loves the whole series and has read all of them, even though she's not a big reader most of the time. Getting the books on Kindle has really opened it up for her, as she can read along with the "text to read" function. The story is a lot of fun for girls. She was 10 when we got the first Ivy and Bean for her.

Fast and Fun
Quick and quirky read. My daughter loves Ivy + Bean books and sails through them completely comprehending the strange stories and humor. I'm not thrilled at the language or name-calling but it seems pretty typical for popular chapter books of this age group. Looking for a way to replace Junie B.Jones. Cute stories but lots of nasty talk.

All of the Ivy and Bean books are awesome - unlike anything else out there
All of the Ivy and Bean books are awesome - unlike anything else out there. I read my 4 year old daughter the series and we were both very entertained. If your girl likes bugs and dirt and creepy things and mischief and everything not princess then these books are for you!

We love Ivy and Bean!
My 6 y/o daughter and I are absolutely hooked on the "Ivy and Bean" series. Here's why: The kids talk, think and act like real kids. The characters are funny and believable. Ivy and Bean have wonderfully creative ideas and imaginations. Ivy and Bean are likable (I find them lovable) even though they get in trouble all the time with their parents and teachers. Ivy and Bean are unconventional. Ivy and Bean is very well-written and the illustrations are charming and delightful.

I have been reading the Ivy and Bean books to my three grand-daughters. They all love them as do grandma and grandpa! The dialogue is brilliant as are the stories - just enough naughtiness to shock and intrigue all of us. The only problem is that the little ones are never satisfied with a few chapters - they want more and more and more!

My girl said: I liked it because Ivy and Bean were trying to be good instead of bad so animals follow them.
