What is the difference between this and the Royal Canin veterinary diet weight control formula?

Other than the kibbles being smaller, not sure what the difference is by ingredients. My chubby pup seems to like this better than the Royal Canin Satiety. Now if I could only get hubby to stop giving her a "nibble" every time he goes into the fridge!!

Can someone explain how to calculate amt needed for weight loss? Dog is 13 lbs, needs to be 10. Giving her the suggested amt for an 11 lb dog but ??

Just a suggestion, but I changed from this food because I had to fed such a tiny amount daily (one half cup daily for a 14-15 lb tweenie Dachshund... I changed to a no grain diet with a teaspoon of pumpkin daily (Hi-Tek grain free chicken with sweet potato) and now feed her two thirds cup with heaping teaspoon of pumpkin daily. She is in perfect condition/shape now. Sorry I can't give amount for Royal Canin... it is a great food, but just added too much weight...

Whats better for pug weight loss, Satiety or this food?

I’m not sure about the other but I have 4 dogs from 11-19lbs and they haven’t gained any more weight. They also haven’t lost any after 3 years.

what is fat content of this food? Is it appropriate for pancreatitis?

The bag states "crude fat=10.0% min". I use it or my chubby chi. I don't whether or not it is appropriate for pancreatitis. I suggest you consult your vet.
