just what I needed
Used it to install a hoist on the ceiling of my garage. Installed a 48x2 wood lumber in the attic with the eye bolt hanging down. Worked fine lifting 100lb of a generator .

Eye bolt length
Beware, the length noted is overall length including the eye. Not the shaft length.

Perfection
This bolt does come with a nut and there is no binding. The nut just roles perfectly onto the bolt. It is exactly as described and highly recommended.

Seems pretty heavy duty. I used it to hang a hammock between two post. The total length of the bolt is 8 inch. The shaft is about 6”.

May or may not include the nut…
Ordered two, one had a nut, one didn’t. Saw that was a review from someone else, also. So incorrect picture, or additional description needed? I won’t send it back because who knows if I will get one with a nut. Shaking my head.

Eye bolt for the ages!
It's a tough thing to remember life before this. When suspending things, I wrapped string around a beam and hoped for the best, but now, with this gem, I can now securely anchor anything I want to that beam! Swings, ropes, hanging plants, flags, ... anything. just the other day, I thought, what if I hung an anvil? You know what? it worked! It's sturdy I have stopped wasting string.
