Can this cut sweet potato

How long do you microwave sweet potatoes before cutting it?

Is this the british or the american volt? how many hertz? and is it adapter between us and uk voltage ?

This product is US ready for 110-120 volts. If you want it for Europe you will need to purchase an adapter.

Do I need tools to assemble this?

Minor assembly is required. No tools needed. I removed the bottom plate. I place a cutting board beneath the unit to catch the cut potatoes. The bottom plate prevents the unit from pushing the potato through completely. Removing the plate solved the problem. Don't bother with the little washers. Also turn the unit so it stands vertically to screw on the wing nuts. Cleaning the unit is easy, so I don't disassemble with each use.

Can I buy a 1/2" replacement blade assembly? When I bought my machine in 4/2019, it came with a 3/8" blade.

Cuts hard potatoes like sweet potatoes - easy peasy!!

This excellent electric potato cutter works wonders!! I am sad to say my counterspace cannot accommodate it. Emailed Seller and promptly responded and provided me with an excellent offer which I could not refuse ad hopefully he will keep his promise. This machine is a monster eating machine, cuts through like butter on russet, hard potatoes like sweet potatoes with ease. No more pushing down on manual machines, fries getting stuck or broken blades. Easy to clean - just a few butterfly nuts and a few "o" rings. If you have broken many cheaper versions the cost of those machines could easily add up to the cost of this machine. Mind you, it is expensive but honestly, its well worth the money in the long run. Very happy with machine and it's extremely fast!!

Just what I needed

Had a manual one before which was a pain to use. This makes fries much easier. I removed the stainless steel plates and the plexiglass plate. these are for safety of course but for me easier to use and less parts to clean. well built and easy to operate. love it.

Very efficient and smooth

I am very pleased with this product it is extremely smooth to use and makes cutting fries a breeze. Some purchasers claimed it was difficult/time consuming to clean. I found if you just rinse the dirty ends under the spray nozzle, you do not need to take it apart each time to clean it. Great product.
