Fermentation Heater Wrap with Thermometer Strip

I use this with an Inkbird temperature controller to keep fermentation within a couple of degrees of target. I secure it on the outside of the fermenter with 2 Velcro straps. During summer I put the fermenter in a temperature controlled freezer (that I also use for chilling kegs) with insulation wrapped around, below & on top. This controls the upper temperature limit. During the winter in the garage this isn't needed. Product works well.

This heater made it so easy to keep our fermenting wine at the correct temperature. You definitely want to get the thermostat when you get the heat wrap. We didn't have it for the first two days and had to manually unplug the heater to keep the temperature where it needed to be.

With my house at a constant 63.5 F this holds its own temperature at 135 F. The connections are insulated with hot glue. I might have to put some electrical tape over those points.

This thing is great, all you need is this, an inkbird, and a space that’s a little cooler than you want, and you have optimal fermentation temp control.

Its what you would expect

I used this product to keep my carboy at an adequate temp and it worked to expectations.

Lasted through one use and then went dead. No continuity when checked with a meter. Should have known it was fragile once I saw the low budget dab of hot glue that covered the leads where they attached to the grid.

Wrapped my fermenter with the mat did very well maintaining temp.
