No complaints. My experience with these job-specific tools (crank arm / bottom bracket) was about 30 years ago, probably with expensive Park brand - at the local / now closed bike shop. I needed this for my old 1996 GT LTS-3 that I'm refreshing. It's pretty inexpensive, and works just fine for pulling the crank arms and Shimano sealed bottom bracket unit. About the only other tool you would need is a 1/2 inch drive long breaker bar for the bottom bracket removal, but mine was pretty stuck though. Pretty decent combo tool, for the price.

This worked perfectly. There are a few tricks to make it do so. First you need a high pressure grease. If you are working on your own bike you should have some already. Apply a dab to the threads including the threads of the part that attaches to the crank arm. This keeps the aluminum from sticking to the steel. Second, use a square nut or make a square steel slug to sit on top of the crank spindle. This will prevent the threads from being damaged. This is why the Park Tool tip breaks. The tip on this one is solid. Third is the real trick. Apply heat! The crank arm is aluminum and the crank spindle is steel. They will and do stick under pressure. Put tension on the tool, then heat with a heat gun. This will expand the aluminum. When you cannot touch the metal finish removing with the tool. No need to blister the paint, it doesn’t need that much heat. Final note: the part that threads into the crank arm only needs to be finger tight. If it doesn’t thread in, your crank arm threads are damaged an need to be cleaned and repaired. BTW: The tool to remove the nut holding the bearings is a 1/2 inch drive socket ratchet. This was not a problem for me as I had rachet of this size. As with all ratchets, it is best practice to support the ratchet head while using. I had no damage occur during use. If you have a swivel handle ratchet, aligning your hand in the same plane as the BB nut will also reduce the twisting of the tool.

Pretty descent for the price, only had a couple of splines on the socket that required a little filing so it would fit into the race for tightening and not slipping off. Other than that worked great!

Since I purchased an ebike - there isn’t many bike shops that you can go to for repairs. Many simply don’t want to be liable even if they can fix the bike. So for in- experienced bikers who don’t know their way around a bike, a YouTube tutorial and this tool will help you get your cranks off your bike for whatever reason. Pros: Tools work well and get the job done. Cons: None. Tools complete the job.

Tools are well built and fit and function is excellent. Crank puller and Bottom Bracket remover work great on the square taper cranks and the 12 pin Bottom Brackets! Check your BB pin count prior to ordering so you get the right one that matches your pin count. Just tuned up the bottom bracket on one of my bikes and these tools make it simple and easy.1/2" socket adapter makes it fool proof when using a ratchet for added torque. Can't beat the price and you might want to buy the set that has the rear cassette tool included as you'll probably need that tool at some point anyways for general maintenance such as replacing a busted spoke. With all the Utube video's available for pulling and installing the square taper cranks and bottom brackets, you can easily perform general maintenance and install/removal with these quality tools. Just one DIYS maintenance check will more than pay for these tools! Highly recommend.

Absolutely great crank removal tool used it once didn't have any issues and pretty self explanatory

The tool is good quality and worked great. I think people have problems because cranksets on bicycles tend to be dirty and frozen in place. Take the inner bolt out of the tool before you start and screw the outer part into the crankset. The threads may be dirty and the tool may not screw in easily. You may have to do a series of tighten and back offs to get the tool all the way down into the crankset. Be careful not to cross thread. When the bottom part of the tool is screwed in, put the inner bolt in and tighten it. The crankset may be tight and you may feel like you need a bigger wrench to pull the crankset. A bigger wrench may work, but you may also strip the threads out of the crankset. You will be better off tapping the inner bolt and the crankset a few times with a hammer. The vibration from the tapping will loosen things up. It works best to tighten the puller bolt, then tap. I did this a few times and the tight crankset came off easily without a big wrench. I did not use the bottom bracket puller.

My grandson needed this tool and it really just turned out to be not very strong at all I mean for $20 I think you should be able to have it last a little bit longer than it did I do not have pictures I didn't even do the return because I was annoyed by it but they would have accepted the return they said they would have I just felt that we didn't really care for it and it didn't work well for us so that's all I have to say he could have been a little rough with it so I hate to even give it you know a little over a review that I did because my grandson is like 17 years old so he might have manhandled it a little bit when he was using it. I didn't return it I do need to give him a new tool though he's a good grandson

Par contre prévoir un levier suffisant afin d'avoir la force de dévisser le boîtier et sortir les manivelles. Clé Allen de 14 ou clé plate de grande taille fortement préconisés... La qualité globale est satisfaisante, tout se visse bien, j'ai pû procéder au remplacement de mon boîtier pour la toute première fois et il en avait besoin. Rien de mieux que le DIY. Démontage ET reassemblage sans soucis.
