Featuring Remastered OK COMPUTER, B-Sides and Three Never Before Released Tracks: “I Promise,” “Lift,” “Man Of War” Rescued from defunct formats, prized from dark cupboards and brought to light after two decades in cold storage… OKNOTOK will be issued June 23 on XL Recordings, coinciding (roughly) with the original 1997 release date(s) of Radiohead’s landmark third album OK COMPUTER. OKNOTOK features the original OK COMPUTER twelve track album, eight B-sides, and the Radiohead completist’s dream: “I Promise,” “Lift,” and “Man Of War.” The original studio recordings of these three previously unreleased and long sought after OK COMPUTER era tracks finally receive their first official issue on OKNOTOK. All material on OKNOTOK is newly remastered from the original analogue tapes. Digital formats, double CD, and triple 180g LP versions of the 23 track album will be released widely on June 23rd. OK COMPUTER was originally released on various dates ranging from May to July 1997. Produced by the band and Nigel Godrich, the album is widely cited as one of the greatest works of Radiohead’s--or any artist’s--catalogue and was the first Radiohead record to reach #1 in the UK and to be be nominated for the Album of the Year GRAMMY. The album features singles “Paranoid Android,” “Karma Police,” “Lucky” and “No Surprises.” In 2015, The National Recording Registry selected OK COMPUTER to be preserved in the Library of Congress as a recording that has proven “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.” Review: More Than OK - OK Computer was first released in 1997 to tremendous critical adulation. While not as immediately accessible as its outstanding predecessor, The Bends, OK Computer has proven to be not only Radiohead's finest release, but one of the best "rock" albums ever. The two CD version of this latest re-release, the third incarnation of OK Computer (the previous releases were the original album and a circa 2009 2CD/1DVD boxed release and companion 2CD release issued by Radiohead's original label), boasts one CD containing a remaster of the original album (from the original analogue masters), and a second CD containing three previously unreleased tracks and a collection of previously released B-sides (including on the last release of the album), also all remastered. The remaster of the album proper, on first listen, sounds better than ever. The sound is crystal clear and very detailed. I did not notice significant compression, at least on the initial listen. The three "new" tracks are at least very good, certainly not on the level of the album proper, but worthy of repeated listenings, and worth acquiring for any Radiohead fan. The B sides, which include some excellent tracks, are not worth acquiring again, but for those who did not pick them up previously, add to the value of this set, and they are also all remastered. The packaging of the two CD set is downright skimpy, a simple cardboard fold-out, with no trays and no booklet. The original CD had a booklet with lyrics and graphics. In short, this set, which includes an excellent remaster of a classic album and three previously unreleased tracks as well as previously released B sides, offered (as of this writing) at a very fair price, is well worth acquiring for anyone into Radiohead or great rock music. Just be forewarned that the packaging is not worthy of the music within. © 2017 D.A. Rich Review: Great album - A great version of this classic Radiohead album! Fun unreleased songs on this version. Vinyl version sounds awesome!

I was introduced to Radiohead's music roughly 8 years ago when I was close to the age of 6-7. Yeah, that does mean I am 14 right now. I was in the car with my dad and he turned off the pop music on the radio and turned on Creep. I watched the live performance video, I was just fully engrossed in the song. I asked my dad what this song was called, Who is it by? Later that day I hopped onto our family's shared computer and searched for Radiohead on YouTube. After seeing Creep at the top search, I saw No Surprises which led me to discover the OK Computer album. After listening for about a year or so, in 2017 OK Computer OKNOTOK came out. Seriously, this is one of the best albums I have ever listened to. It's perfectly gut wrenching and makes you feel so many emotions other then average pop music which usually lacks a good meaning. I was very happy to recently get a record player and to purchase this vinyl. No regrets with that, I love Radiohead. Radiohead inspired me to pick up a guitar and find a way to get deeper into their music, not just listen but also play it. Thanks for your service Radiohead. 🫡🫡

The second disc makes this a must have for Radiohead fans.
This review is for the CD version If you are a Radiohead fan considering upgrading their best album this is worth it. The remastering on the album was done by Bob Ludwig one of the best mastering engineers in the world and the album sounds great. There isn't anything radically different (like the Sgt peppers remix) but it definitely sounds a little more crisp then the 97 release. The main reason to buy this anniversary edition is not the slightly better mastering but the inclusion of b-sides and previously unreleased tracks. The highlight of this release is the three previously unreleased songs and B-sides. All three of the unreleased tracks are great, my favorite being Man of War. The CD packaging mirrors the vinyl release in that it comes in a cardboard slip case. There isn't any linear booklet which is kind of a drag but doesn't take away from the product overall. In summary if you love Radiohead this anniversary edition is great. The new remaster is a slight improvement over the 97 release but nothing earth shattering. The bonus disc will give fans greater insight on a band during the period when they crafted one of the greatest albums of all time.

85% happy
First, this is one of the best albums of all time. One of my 5 desert island albums. I highly recommend this three-disc edition; definitely worth it. As for the quality of the pressing, it's generally excellent. That said, on my copy there are a couple of loud pops on one song, which is disappointing for a brand new vinyl record. Also, this is NOT blue vinyl, which the description said when I bought it. Then I noticed that that info was listed in a box that said Editorial (a lot of records on Amazon have "info" in this box, so be careful). The blue vinyl was only for indie record stores. As for Amazon shipping, that was not good. They did not ship it in a box; they shipped it in a bag, so a couple of the corners of the cardboard outer sleeve were dented. Thankfully the warehouse is in my city, so it only shipped across town and not overnight and wasn't totally trashed.

This is NOT the box set edition, just the triple LP one. Description is misleading.
