I ordered this on Friday morning, and it was delivered the following day. Granted I do live in the state it was shipping from, but still, for an item this size coming from a third party vendor, I was amazed. The motor arrived in perfect condition, and I had it installed on my skiff in about 2 hours.(I had most the prep work done prior to its arrival). The following morning, i was on the water and the motor pulls an 18 ft skiff (carolina skiff jvx18) with ease and steering is great with the remote, although I will be getting the foot control as it definitely easier to handle while fishing.A few tips:1) Get at least a 100ah battery I got an AGM group 31 and it ran this motor all day with out skipping a beat, and was still running full speed at the end of the day.2) Make sure all electrical connections are good **Carolina skiff pre-rig trolling motor receptacles suck**3) Measure 5 times and drill once. I ended up drilling an extra mounting hole that there was no possible way to get to the bottom of the screw4) You MUST install the bolts from the top, with the nut on the bottom side, otherwise the side covers will not go on (learned this the hard way). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good saltwater trolling motor *by L***X on July 17, 2022* Works great for my wife’s kayak application.
