Works well for me
This bunion pad works great for me. New to treadmill, I developed a blister between my bunion and sole on one foot. (This never happened with regular walking.) I tried hydrocolloid patches but the blister just came back bigger. After it drained on its own, I tried this pad. Problem solved! No pain, no recurrence, no "deroofing" of the blister site. I bought size Large for a women's size 8.5 trainer. It fits fine under a compression sock and I forget it's even there! One day I wore it for over an hour walking on the treadmill to no ill effect. This simple bunion pad allows me to take full advantage of a spendy gym membership.

Life saver
OK, Iโve had bunion surgery years ago but now I have what they call Halifax toe where my toe is wanting to go outward now not inward. I guess itโs a rare side effect of bunion surgery. Lucky me. Anyway, Iโve started having problems lately with my shoes again, where my right toe runs against my shoes. I have to go bigger size because of my big toe going out. I donโt want to have surgery yet until next winter so I thought I would try these sleeves and see how they worked. Omg, they are tight enough to bring my toe back in some but not so tight they hurt they are cushioned at bunion area so no pain. I was afraid I wasnโt going to be able to wear these new cute combat boots that I had bought for a trip because, even though I went up a size, the right toe still rubbed against the toe seam. After putting on this sleeve itโs like a whole new shoe now and so comfortable. I will be ordering more even though these should last a while and you can wash them, but I do want an extra pair. I donโt usually leave a lot of reviews, but when you have trouble with your feet and you donโt wanna have surgery yet this just really makes my day.

Sizing Issues
A big toe cannot fit into where it is supposed to go. My thumb which is long and narrow can hardly be put through. The sizing is wrong. It says it is a large but is more appropriate for a child.

Works as expected
Works as expected but did cut into the skin between my toes after a while. Maybe too small for my foot

Great product
Perfect solution to my problem. I have a spot on my bunion that needs protection from my shoes. Rather than using bandages daily, I slip this sleeve over my toe. It goes on easily and can be hand washed when needed.

Comfortable at First, but Support Shifts Over Time
When I first got this bunion sleeve, it seemed like it was going to work well. Itโs actually very comfortable when you first put it on. It did feel a little awkward at first since Iโm not used to having something just around my big toe, but overall it felt good initially and did reduce friction right away. However, after about six hours of wear, I started to notice some pressure on the top of my foot and around the bunion itself. The sleeve was still soft, but it didnโt maintain the same level of comfort and protection on the bone over time. The gel pad thatโs meant to stay in place and protect the bunion began to shift slightly, moving upward and no longer fully covering the area it was supposed to protect. Once that happened, the friction relief wasnโt as effective anymore, and I ended up taking it off. I also noticed that wearing it alone in a shoe wasnโt enough for all-day comfort โ for me, it worked better when paired with a sock to help keep everything in place and add a little extra cushioning. I will say that this may depend on how pronounced your bunion is. On one of my feet where the bunion is less pronounced, it worked fine. On the foot where my bunion is more noticeable, it was just okay โ not bad, but not enough for extended wear. Itโs comfortable and helpful for shorter periods, but I personally will continue looking for additional options for all-day support. Photo note: The shoes shown in these photos are for illustration purposes only. I did not wear the bunion sleeves out like this uncovered. I primarily wore them in boots with stockings/tights and a sock. These photos are simply to show how the sleeve sits inside a shoe and how the gel pad is positioned. Photo Clarification: The shoes pictured are very pointy, whereas the boots I wore were less narrow. Even so, you can see how the gel pad shifted over time, moving upward instead of staying centered over the bunion. That movement is what reduced comfort for me after several hours of wear.

Really helping
I have had pain in a big toe joint from bunion that kept me up at night. The toe was increasingly shifted toward the next toe. I have been wearing these only at night. The first few nights were uncomfortable; I pulled them off after a short time. Now I am used to them and tolerate them all night. The toe is straighter & no longer painful. Both big toes are straighter

Disappointed
I ordered the large for my size 8.5 foot. The sock fit very tight. I liked the position of the pad but it became apparent from the start that this was doing nothing to straighten out my big toe. I put on a regular sock over the Bunion Corrector and then put on a shoe. The Bunion Corrector was comfortable at the beginning. After about two hours use, the Bunion Corrector began feeling uncomfortable. I removed my shoe and my sock and fount that the Bunion Corrector had slipped and bunched up around my toes. I pulled the Bunion Corrector back on, put my sock and shoe back on and tried it again. In a couple of hours I was experiencing the same issue and found the Bunion Corrector had again bunched up around my toes. I discontinued use. I will not try again.

BE CAREFUL WHILE ORDERING
Lately I had been finding that several pairs of shoes which used to fit me comfortably in the past were feeling tight. The reason was reduced gap between the big toe and second toe on both feet, resulting in bunions. This product was the most highly rated one for bunion relief, but it simply provides a cushion between the bunion and the shoe, which might help tender skin to heal. However, it can exacerbate the problem if your shoes are tight! From my experience it is better to buy gel spacers which fit between one's big toe and second toe, which not only improve the fitting of one's shoes, but also correct the misalignment to some extent.

Not useful for me
It is thin. It gets gathered while walking. I can't use it.
